Not sure I agree really, when a murder acquires a political character it crosses the line into terrorism and I think that's the case here, from the video it seems the guy is very concious of his actions and his motivations for them

Mine too, I'm so disappointed by some of the stuff I've read by some people I know. It appears social media on the whole seem to be very 50/50 on scapegoating all Muslims/thinking that's pathetic, when I would've thought those peddling the anti-Islam rhetoric would've been in the minority. It's saddening that they seemingly aren't.

The mentality behind it is so ill informed and as you say, utterly embarrassing. I've seen comments like 'get back to your own county if you don't like our rules' and 'David Cameron needs to get all the immigrants to leave' (that one is dumb on so many levels). It's astounding. But that's the power of a right-wing media. Honestly, the amount of kids that go on about Muslims/immigrants/benefits in a derogatory manner is appalling. These kids are just spoonfed this misinformed bile every day wherever they go and it's perpetuated by their family and friends, it's like a vicious circle.

I don't know, I think it's a bit flippant to dismiss him as insane & I don't imagine they would consider 'terrorist' to be anything like a badge of honour, I'd have thought they'd find it insulting to have their actions demeaned in such a way and would probably argue that our army are the terrorists.

The guys obviously wanted to get a message across, and didn't care about the outcome, them being classed as "terrorists" will stick in peoples minds more than "killers". I think it is right to call them insane, no sane person would run someone down and cut off his head for wearing a "Help for heroes" t-shirt.

Yea I think that's unfair on Nigeria arista, yep there are terrorists there, but the majority of people there are decent. So it's not at all right to say it's full of terrorists.

Yeah, I agree. A few of my closest friends are Nigerian and they are not terrorists. You cannot generalize everyone like that.
