That was when they had key players missing though ..

They have Salah , Jota , Diaz , Gakpo and Nunez to choose from now ..

After that draw with Arsenal Liverpool have won six successive games without getting into 3rd gear

:)

It’s not in Liverpool’s hands they have to HOPE Man U or Newcastle falter ...and they can both lose a game and still get top 4

True but United still have to get six points out of nine tricky ones IF the Liverpool juggernaut keeps going
:)

Also they may play better against the top teams - some do just that ??

We used to be a real threat against bigger teams, even if we were having a mediocre season, big teams feared us. I can't see them fearing us atm tbh.

I'd prefer Forrest staying up over Everton or Leeds. Unpopular opinion but I've never liked Allardyce. And never really cared for Leeds either.

Crimson Dynamo 14-05-2023 01:43 PM

There’s plenty of time for Everton to turn this around ..

Presuming Calvert -Lewin doesn’t have to go off with a broken hair bobble or something equally ridiculous

Come on Everton !!

I’m still hopeful .. at least 20 minutes left

Just need a goal for Everton to liven the crowd up

Well City still have to play Real Madrid , Brighton , Chelsea.. maybe three defeats ?!
They also play Brentford away on the last day but I heard a rumour that Toney will be out for a few weeks

It’s been a crazy season

What was the song the Arsenal fans were singing pre kick off?

I’ve said all along the reffing is crap in England

The last two tackles should have both been yellows or worse

One each for Arsenal and Brighton

Caicedo took out Martinelli seconds after Martinelli had flattened Mitoma .

This is Mitoma thanking Caicedo..seconds later - Cynical

Only because of weak reffing

Best way to deal with Brightons strong arm tactics is to beat them 5:0 .

It was a careless/ reckless challenge but Martinelli isn’t a nasty player .. totally out of character

Caicedo’s challenge was obviously deliberately done as payback.. could be tendon damage as well .

That’s unacceptable - and then to be congratulated by Mitoma straight away is terrible
