The new manager can easily ship a few of them out on loan though.. as they have a massive squad and money is no object

yeah, and in preparation for next season players can make their pitch. They have zero need to do it now Also, it's not just chelsea, its bournemouth and fulham too. None have anything to play for

There is no way that the new manager won’t be watching and scrutinising every minuscule thing the players do over the coming games .. his own future depends on him making the right decisions. You really think he won’t mind if the players just coast through the games ?

We shall see soon enough ..

I just don’t see any Chelsea player coasting when the new guy and his back room team will be watching for any strengths or weaknesses/flaws ..

Anyone see the Kane free kick goal just then ??

Surely it’s a foul with the spurs defender ran into the Brentford guy stopping him from blocking Kane’s shot ??

Bissouma with a clear , lunging two footed assault .. just a yellow card

Excellent .. the win means Brentford will be fighting for a European place when they play at home to ManCity :)

City are then AWAY to Brighton !!

Come on Brentford !!

Come on Chelsea !!

Come on the Gunners !!
The dream is still alive

I still haven’t given up on the title race !

I can see Chelsea beating City tomorrow as they have to impress the new manager and back room staff ..
Then City play AWAY at Brighton and AWAY at Brentford.. Brentford on a hood run and beat Spurs 3:1 away today and are fighting for a European place !!

Arsenal just have to beat Forest away today and then beat Wolves at home next week.. ..

have a bias suddenly for City now

my Gundogan, i kinda signed him to everyone's surprise on FIFA 21, for like 45 million to my Hamburger SV

he's good at long distance shots

Swan 20-05-2023 01:58 PM

Don't forget though, a win for Forrest today will secure their place in PL next season

bots 20-05-2023 02:03 PM

i think it's funny that zizu thinks man city will lose their remaining 3 matches when they have blown away his beloved arsenal

bots 20-05-2023 02:11 PM

boom boom United 1 up , great goal from Casemiro

Presuming Liverpool win today and then beat Southampton on the last day ..

Even if ManU win today ( no guarantee) they will still need to get 3 points from the last two games against Chelsea and away to Fulham ( Mitrovic is back and scoring)

It’s still possible .. especially given all the shocks we have seen this season .

Man City losing 3 league games in a row, with their current form, is the equivalent of the Democratic Republic of Congo winning the World Cup.

Liverpool have been awful so far, losing 1-0, and Watkins missed a pen

bots 20-05-2023 02:32 PM

liverpool 0 Aston villa 1

It’s been a crazy , crazy season though and City have a lot on their plates .. the other night saw Gundugan and Rodri falling out mid game and also KDB and Pep screaming at each other !!

Given the upsets we’ve seen just lately - is it really that crazy to see the uber talented Chelsea guys putting on a performance against City ??

Then they have two AWAY games to Brighton and Brentford .. both teams going for European places ..
