What time is it meant to fly over? Doing it during the game is better than before surely

Locke. 29-03-2014 11:34 AM

The second plane is supposed to fly over 15 minutes in, not sure about the original one

MTVN 29-03-2014 11:38 AM

Moyes is ready

The plane I think it takes the sting out of the "gesture" by advertising it before hand, personally I think it would have had more impact if it happened without prior warning.

Also the bad season was a given, once Moyes was appointed, most United fans face palmed when he got the job didn't they :conf:

Sorry, Cherie. I didn't realise you were on about the plane. I'm a twat, ignore me. :joker:

You should hire that plane again lads. Seems to be working wonders

He strikes again:

"Moyes admires Guardiola's work but feels the Spaniard benefited from having a break after leaving Barcelona.

"It's a different situation [for Guardiola]," he said. "I am sure he had done a lot of homework and had a year's preparation before taking the job in Munich. He learnt German, watched the games and learned a lot about the players.

"I do think he took over maybe a little more prepared and ready and, with respect, they were the champions of Europe as well so he had a lot of things in place."
---

It all makes sense now. Moyes couldn't speak English and wasn't managing for 10 years in this country...or took over the English champions. I feel bad for getting on his back now :(

Sir Alex Ferguson, among David Moyes’s most fervent backers in the Old Trafford boardroom, will play no part in deciding his successor’s future as Manchester United manager.

Hallelujah if true. :worship:

That ageing squad that was left behind :(. Crazy what Rodgers is doing though. Bloody hell.

Quite possibly the most creepy picture this forum has ever seen. :joker:

Looks like Toni Kroos is staying at Bayern. Never expected Moyes to be used as a bargaining tool. Thought the lure of fighting for a Europa League spot next season would of been what Kroos dreams of.

Every club can have a poor season but it is expected that teams like Man Utd are at least in the running for honours.

He really needs to have one the vbest ever run ins to the end of the season with wins coming easily otherwise there could be more rumblings as to his managerial skills.

However having reached the quarter finals of the European cup and still a likely top 6 finish in the premier league should be enough to ensure he stays.
I myself an not sure if he is the man for the job really but he will, to be fair, need a couple of seasons to make his mark, if he can.

Ryan57 10-04-2014 08:06 AM

Proved once again how out of his depth he is.

Andreas Pereira (United academy player) liked this picture on Instagram apparently.
