i think the fact that Crystal Palace took the lead and could have won the game shows that their tactics were perfectly valid

Not the best start for Liverpool.

Hate Palace and their negative football

They’ve cheated all night long wasting so much time and pulling and pushing in the box

Nunez was wrong to retaliate but the other guy pushed and provoked him twice and wasn’t punished

Congrats to City on winning the title

Good point for Liverpool is that.

2 points from Fulham and Crystal Palace. They'll be delighted with that start.

Mmmm 4 points behind Arsenal and City isn’t ideal but a win or two against both teams kinda evens things up

Yet again the issue is our midfeild, it just isn't good enough at all and I won't get into the Nunez incident as he was a silly boy but when you are provoked so much you will only attack the issue becomes if he does it regularly.

Phillips just isn't the level need for a PL CB and we should have replaced Matip this season as he is a reliability with his injuries.

The thing is, everyone now knows that if Darwin gets ruffled he is going to lose his temper and get sent off, so it's going to happen all the time now

everyone having focus on Man United's flop start so far

but West Ham also have got a similar quite flop start compared to recent past seasons

i can see both ending up doing alright this season

Man United need to asap ditch Ronaldo, terminate his contract well yes pls, he literally adds nothing anymore to the team so good riddance if they can easily ditch him like that, buy Gakpo as his replacement, who's younger, fresher, very ambitious still and a new goalkeeper as De Gea also isn't delivering quality anymore either

and should Erik end up being sacked, i'd say let McClaren take over as interim manager

The Slim Reaper 16-08-2022 09:33 AM

Plucky point keeps us above the relegation scrap for at least another week. :smug:

Man United shock contenders for Aubameyang
Manchester United have emerged as shock candidates to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Sun report on the striker being a target at Old Trafford when he left Arsenal for Barcelona earlier this year.

But they face a big task convincing him to sign for them over Chelsea, if he is to leave the Camp Nou.
