Arsenal is already in the tags bit:p.

30stone 13-04-2010 11:54 PM

This is true.

setanta 14-04-2010 08:57 PM

Van Persie is such a class act. Came on for 20mins and Arsenal looked like a different team. Brilliant player.

30stone 14-04-2010 09:04 PM

Like they said.

what if torres drogba and rooney were all out for 6 months.

He helped create the goal, he made a massive difference as soon as he come on.

11 Premier league games 7 goals 7 assists before his injury.

30stone 14-04-2010 09:05 PM

Gomez was amazing, seriously amazing, van persie was fantastic shooting, any normal keeper would have let at least 2 in.

bbfan1991 14-04-2010 09:18 PM

Well done Spurs:D.. Arsenal lost their game in hand but in terms of title race Chelsea have it won tbh.

Arsenal had lots of possession as expected but had not much shots on targets, where as Spurs msde the most of their chances when they got them.. Van Persie made the difference to the Gunners play when he came on but Spurs played well especially at the back and Arsenal were dominant at times.

Villa drew 2-2 against Everton:(, oh well at least they will be in top 6 again at least this season.

Rob 14-04-2010 09:21 PM

it's a good evening to be a spurs fan :)

bbfan1991 14-04-2010 09:28 PM

I just hope for a United win at Man City now:), second place is where we'll be finishing now so end the season on a high;).

30stone 14-04-2010 09:33 PM

For me...

Man united lose against man city
Chelsea lose at tottenham..

Then the table will look like this.

Chelsea 77
Arsenal 74
Man Utd 73

We would still be right in it?

But i cant see it, totenham were looking buggered toward the end, RVP was walking round them with ease.

setanta 14-04-2010 09:45 PM

Well, United play City first next Saturday, with Chelsea and Spurs being the late kick off, and every single one of them playing for something. Let the games begin.

I agree with Ben Arsenal would still be in it but I hope the United losing part of his post is wrong:p.

Rooney was supposed to be back for City match but i'm not sure if he'll be able to play?.

League 1 is interesting at the mo with the second promotion place up for grabs with Leeds, Millwall, Huddersfield and Swindon all fighting for it:).

setanta 14-04-2010 09:59 PM

If United beat City then Spurs will go all out against Chelsea. Two great games this weekend.

bbfan1991 14-04-2010 10:05 PM

Indeed Setanta:).

City are full of confidence and Spurs are close than ever to breaking into the top 4 so the top 2 will have it tough:D.

RVP is back its great!

He looks hungry too.

30stone 15-04-2010 11:32 AM

Its great to see

Wenger said before the game

"if he hadnt been injured he would be up there with rooney messi and ronaldo this season"

11 games 7 goals 7 assists.
Not bad for an out and out forward.

I think Holland could be a good little bet to get far in the World Cup. Not the most difficult of groups anyway, and they've got such a strong midfield and attack.

30stone 15-04-2010 12:02 PM

Yep And after van persie had been playing upfront for us..
Holand have decided to play him as their out and out striker.

bbfan1991 15-04-2010 07:25 PM

Rooney favourite for the PFA player of the year award!:D, so hope he wins even though there are others who deserve it too.

James Milner for young player award:thumbs:.

30stone 15-04-2010 10:29 PM

No idea how Fabregas wasnt in young player of the year last year...?
