I'm looking forward to the world cup scores guessing game BigSister will be doing!
and Reggie, I know, I completely agree about Ireland. It was such a bummer when France won that game :/ But tbh, they don't really stand a chance at winning the world cup so, it should be ok. I think the furthest the French will get is the quarters! |
I like the french team...
Filled with amazing players but they just dont play well. I think if they put wenger in charge 4 years ago they could have done something.. |
good point Ben.
btw, you guys watching champions league tonight yeah? I'm rooting for Barca, I guess. |

I like the french team.. what happened was unlucky but any footballer would do it given the chance.. They have a very very strong squad but they just dont gel like other teams (eg spain.) |
Inter Milan 3 (Sneijder, Maicon, Milito) Barcelona 1 (Pedro):D.

so shocked to see what's happening to Barca!!
|
Excellent performance from Inter, especially after conceeding. Mourinho is some man for one man. No fluke that he usually gets it right on the big occassion.
|
Looks like Inter are going to win the CL:thumbs:, at long last.
Speculation is now that Fergie has hinted he wants one more season at United before finally retiring then Mourinho will take over so could wait?. One thing that he lacks though is working with younger players. |
yeah really surprising! Lyon better beat Bayern tomorrow!

Credit to Mourinho and the players:), still all to play for at the Nou Camp... |
Evening guys :)
Newbie here, so thought i would pop in and say hello. I personally thought Barca looked well tired tonight after their long road trip, and also thought the apparent 'dive' was a blatent penalty...but i spose poop happens :( Should be a good follow up match next week i reckon. |

Defiant Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill believes he has 'earned the right' to stay at the club next season.
O'Neill's future at Villa has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks following rumours that he could quit Villa Park. It has been suggested the former Celtic man could walk away from the club in the summer, but O'Neill is hoping to stay and is planning to hold talks with Villa owner Randy Lerner at the end of the season "I would really hope to be [at Villa next season]," said O'Neill. "I think I've earned that right. As far as I'm concerned it's straightforward. "People make judgments and calls and I will see if the Villa fans are disgruntled with it. "I will then see if the chairman, who has a big say in proceedings, agrees with that. "There are people with a big say. I include Villa fans, the chairman and myself in that. If this season has turned out pretty well, great. If it hasn't, I will sit and assess things then with my employer, the chairman." Great news:). I never believed MON wanted to leave because he's happy at the Villa and wants to carry on the project there, stupid papers talking crap yet again:sleep:. |

Looks like my prediction could be right after all about Everton qualifying for Europe again:hugesmile:. |

I don't know Reggie, unless Liverpool or Villa slip up majorly, AND we win all our remaining games, I think we're destined to finish 8th, and no Europe :( I'm trying to keep the faith but we need a bit of luck now that's for sure! |
|
Awww always had a soft spot for Spurs, I think they may finish 4th!
So long as it's not City or the RS I'm happy  |
Villa to win:thumbs:.
I actually think Liverpool will beat Chelsea next week not just because I need them to in terms of the title race;). However United have it tough against Spurs who are in a lot of confidence. |
"ALEX FERGUSON believes David Moyes is the man to succeed him at Old Trafford.
SunSport revealed yesterday the Manchester United boss is ready to step down after one more season. Ferguson, 68, is convinced that Everton boss Moyes can provide the continuity United crave to keep them challenging for the top honours. Jose Mourinho is the bookies' favourite and enjoys a close relationship with Ferguson from his time as a rival boss with Chelsea. But the United hierarchy, including the influential Sir Bobby Charlton, are not convinced. Ferguson knows fellow Glaswegian Moyes, 46, well and has constantly championed his achievements at Preston and now Everton. He also believes it is right to give a good British manager the chance to take one of the big jobs in football." Would be amazing for Moysey but I wouldn't want to lose him tbh, he's done amazing things for us in the 8 years he's been at Goodison. He's not had the experience in Europe either really (not successfully anyway) but maybe this would be his chance to take that next step up. I know Fergie is a big fan of Moyes :) |
Villa to win, right on Reggie!
