King Gizzard 07-01-2010 04:26 AM

Always preffered Milan over Inter

andyman 07-01-2010 04:28 AM

.. 2010 is the last throw of the dice for our golden generation.. Back in 2000 many were coming through the ranks and by 2002 it was the start of the golden generation... Failed and the next batch of players don't look great.

Dark years ahead. :(

King Gizzard 07-01-2010 04:30 AM

well then it is hard to argue with your choice, would be a great central defence partnership.
if your about 20 i'd say your football knowledge goes back to about 1996 (euro 96 time) and from then to now i would choose thuram and cannavaro as my 2 centre backs

andyman 07-01-2010 04:34 AM

Was on news few weeks back about Arsenal v this other club and not one English player on the pitch..

arsenal pompey

16 different nationalities, not one englishman

then sam allardyce had the audacity to come out and criticise it when he is one of the worst for fielding foreigners in his time at bolton and now at blackburn

Locke. 07-01-2010 07:58 PM

Chelsea want Iaquinta from Juventus
Stoke might sign Zaki
Viera is having a medical at Man City
Tottenham are set to offer Robbie Keane to Villa for Carew + cash
Dossena is taking a medical at Napoli
Arsenal are lining Higuain up as a replacement for Fabregas
Jermaine Beckford is moving to Newcastle
Arsenal are ready to bid £35 million for Zarate from Lazio

King Gizzard 07-01-2010 08:00 PM

Arsenal would never spend that on one player lol

30stone 07-01-2010 08:04 PM

Higuain looks quality but hes not fabregas, Arsenal want Eden Hazard to..

But no way wenger would spend 35m, especially not on a player like that.

More likely to spend 17m on Gignac..

30stone 07-01-2010 08:04 PM

Wonder if keane carew swap would be good..

Novo 07-01-2010 08:07 PM

Zarate LOL!!!!

Manchester City have completed the signing of Inter Milan midfielder Patrick Vieira on loan.

The former Arsenal enforcer has moved to Eastlands on an initial six-month deal, with an option of a further 12 months to follow.

Vieira, 33, becomes Roberto Mancini's first signing since taking the manager's job at City, having worked with him at Inter, and the Frenchman moves after passing a medical at the club on Thursday afternoon.

Mancini admitted he was delighted to secure the services of the experienced midfielder, who still harbours hope of playing in the summer's World Cup, and thinks he will be an important signing for the club.

"Patrick is a world class midfielder with a winner's mentality and will fit into this group very well," he told the club's official website.

"He knows me and my staff well, and importantly he also knows what the Premier League is all about.

"He will not need much time to settle in.

"Patrick is one of the great players of this era with almost every honour in the game against his name.

"I am sure City fans will welcome him warmly and appreciate the contribution he will make."

Vieira made 279 appearances during a nine-year stint with Arsenal, winning the Premier League three times.

So Viera has gone to Man City now.

lmfao we are one of 4 games left standing in the championship tommorow :L

danda012 08-01-2010 02:03 PM

Are there even any League One or League Two games on tommorow?

Newcastle for me were a little off-form during the end of December-first week January. This would be a nice break for them. Plenty time to prepare for the mid-week reply against Plymouth in FA Cup

HeatherTWx 08-01-2010 05:52 PM

Liverpool V Tottenham been called off on Sunday due to hazerdous weather conditions around the ground.
Thats the 4th Premier league game cancelled now.

King Gizzard 08-01-2010 06:48 PM
