More of the usual there El Proximo, sorry to disappoint you.

What 'dreadful ratings' can you provide anything to back up your claims, or do you simply spout rubbish?

I dont look at things in any particular way, as you claim.

Mind you thank you for proving a point I made on a previous post you love swinging a conversation or post around to your 'best mate' Marcus.

Go on tell us all why you love to hate him, are you a spurned ex girlfriend of his, or were you the cuckolded boyfriend?

Do you want hardcopy printouts or will online records do?
Then go fetch them for me.
and your shine box.

Online proof would be more than sufficient. Glad to see you didnt disappoint me. Didn't think you would, do us all a favour either pee or get off the pot.

Incidentally why do you hate Marcus so much? Does he remind you of an ex?

ElProximo 24-08-2009 01:51 AM

Did you notice there is a 'sticky' topic about BB10's ratings?
There was.
But google works.
Now get to it.

In other words you cant back up what you spout off about.

Incidentally you still haven't answered why you hate Marcus so much, does he remind you of an ex, are you one of his spurned ex's or are you a cuckolded boyfriend?

Sadly Canada never got its own version of Big Brother even though many other countries with much smaller populations had their own versions.
A relative sort of comparison (in a sense) would be like trying to give Scotland its own version with a competing English version.
BBUSA is 10 times massive and so we just watch that rather than make our own.
In previous seasons - Canadian viewers of BBUSA was a HIGHER % (per capita) than it was among Americans. How odd.

But BBUK is just an entire level beyond BBUSA. It really is another league.
Even a bad season (like BB10) is still a whole league above a BBUSA season.
but,
granted two different things with the USA version running a lot of its own rules and no public votes (except for prizes etc) and the US version is properly an 'ongoing scripted drama' and is not a 'game show'.
Considering BB US averages four times more viewers and got 12 million votes in for the Coup d'Etat this is a moot point.

Public votes weekly in the US for slop menu choices and they voted on the biggest part of the game this year. Another moot point on your part.

It's BBUK that will never compare to BBUS on numbers. If you like one more, fine. Just separate opinion from "facts". LOL!

I am the backup. I am your source.
Ratings are down this season.
Done.

Typical Canadians stirring it and instigating wars.
Probably from Toronto?

I don't, I bloody hate that term, its used by people to add emphasis and make their opinion the correct one. As soon as anyone says it I cringe knowing the next few lines from the speaker will be their opinion and probably garbage.

No offense meant LoadofDross pmsl

it's like when people say "end of story" as if their point is absolutely uncounterable and sums up the entirety of the point of contention.

Interesting post. I can see how Scotland/England can be compaired to Canada/USA especially having watched South Park. I think though Scottish people may hold more resentment towards the English though at times.

Always interesting to see the views of you guys over there and see how they compair to those over here.

If it is me it tends to be.:joker:

For the housemates I think it is often just a mannerism in the same way as saying "like" at the end of sentences and my own over use of the word "though".:laugh3:
