normal people are boring people...but remember the big brother in us is meant to be competitive. UK is all about entertainment

No boring people are boring, normal people have a certain appeal and are not a bunch of freaks like some of this years housemates.

The problem is that it's hard to get the balance.

Normal people aren't interesting. BB4 showed that.

But NOW, the interesting people get voted out early because there are too many other interesting people.

Think how Mary could have done if Makosi hadn't been there?

This year we've had:

Mary, Kemal, Makosi, Science, Kinga, Derek who are all very controversial and interesting people to watch, regardless of whether you like them or not.

Lesley and Sam are regular girls, and they got voted out early. Mary got voted out because she was too different.

Makosi is hated now.

So how do you get the perfect housemate?

But it would need a complete redesigning of the show cos at the moment once a housemates says they want to win, we have too many idiots in the public complaining that they have a gameplan or are playing a game. One of the most irritating things with BB is when someone phones into BBLB and Dermot asks them "So why do you dislike X" and the moron on the phone comes out with "They're playing a game", and thats it. They phone up like they're announcing some great peice of reasoning and insight, as if phoning up solely to say "they playing a game" is some sort of fait accomplis worthy of praise. As if "playing a game" in BB is enough to justify hating the person, as if it's the worst thing in the world that the housemate could do. Bleedin idiots annoy me, and thats why BB will always turn out to be the most boring and "nice" person winning, rather than the person who puts in the effort and plays the game and plays with the people in the house.

I disagree. If there'd been 13 hm's at the start of those series too, the same issues as this year would've arisen.
