I go to bed around 10.30, read for half an hour (unless I have been drinking when i read for 2 minutes) and wake at around 6.30 to 7 - 7 days a week.

Enid 04-01-2010 04:23 PM

You are lucky LT. I wish I could maintain that sort of routine.

Unfortunately, I can only go to bed when I'm tired, I can't force myself to sleep. And when I am tired it takes me at least an hour to drop off because I'm tossing and turning all the place and my mind is still very much active. I do most of my thinking in bed..

exercise is the key and routine. When i drink though i have fitfull sleeps.

getting up early is also good and i never drink caffeine past lunchtime or chocolate.

Enid 04-01-2010 04:27 PM

I admit, I don't get nearly enough exercise. I live off caffeine though, lol.

Ahh my life is fecked up. :P

if you stop the caffeine after say 4 pm your ability to sleep will improve, and no chocolate or smoking etc. It is not rocket science. cut out the stimulants and your brain will allow you to sleep earlier and better.

Enid 04-01-2010 04:40 PM

That's easy to say, I've been drinking tea since I was a kid. Cutting it out just a tiny bit would destroy me. :P

Stephanie 04-01-2010 04:41 PM

normally if i stay up till like 4/5am (which i usually do) i end up waking up at 6/7pm rofl

Enid 04-01-2010 04:42 PM

Yeah the other night I slept for about 12 hours. Felt **** when I woke up.

InOne 04-01-2010 04:46 PM

Went to bed at half 6 got up at 1

Stephanie 04-01-2010 04:47 PM

i always feel so sick when i wake up, and waking up and looking out of the window and it being pitch black makes me feel depressed lmfao.

Enid 04-01-2010 04:49 PM

Do you not have school Steph?

MrGaryy 04-01-2010 04:52 PM

I know that feeling steph there's nothing worse than knowing you've just slept through day light.

Marc 04-01-2010 05:15 PM

I'm pretty good with my sleep! I wake up early on purpose as to not stay up stupidly late and waste half my day (cause I would wake up at noon time). I have work to do! Only at uni though hehe

Lewis. 04-01-2010 05:15 PM

On school nights I tend to go to bed at about 10.. maybe spend an hour on the laptop and then read for about 30 mins and go to sleep at about 12.. then get up at 6am.

In the holidays I throw sleeping patterns out of the window.. I've been really bad this christmas.. going to bed at like.. 5am and getting up at about 3pm. Its annoying knowing you've wasted the whole morning.. and time goes so fast when you're online at like 2am.. one minute it is 2am.. then next it is half 4am

Marc 04-01-2010 05:16 PM

Enid do you have many friends who stay up all night as well as you??

Uhh not really. I live with my boyfriend though and he's exactly the same, lol.

Wildcat! 04-01-2010 05:19 PM

For me it depends on what Im doing. Right now, I am writing my thesis, so I dont have to go to Uni at 8am everyday, and I've only got to watch the computer LAB at my school, after 3pm. So at this point, I stay up pretty late, till about 4. and I wake up around 11.

But normally, I tay up late whenever I dont have to do something in the morning. Its just nice to be up when everyone else is asleep. Something strange about that. I think 20% of people are like that. :)

I'm the same,I can't sleep if I'm not really tired first. I don't drink caffeine though,I'll be quite scared of myself on it
