Smile To the insomniacs and night owls...

I'm surprised by how many people stay up through out the whole night just to doss around on the computer. I'm exactly the same. How late/early do you stay awake till (if you go to sleep at all!) and around what time do you wake up? Lately I've been awake till about 4am and getting up at noon. It's so hard to break this habit and I even pulled an all-nighter a couple of days ago, was the hardest thing ever, and it didn't solve anything!

Have been terrible lately. Sorted it out a bit when I went to stay with my dad but as soon as I got back home my bodyclock is all fecked again.

Most nights up until around 4am or later, then awake by about 11. If I could I'd sleep in later but I've got to see some daylight at least!

Am going to HAVE to sort it out over the next week or so. Have always been a terrible insomniac though!

It depends. Sometimes its 1-10,sometimes it can be 4-12/1 but then really bad it can be 6/7-3/4. I try not to let it get too bad. I'm about 6-3 at the moment, which is bad.... I blame Christmas.

I got in this bad habit too Enid. Was going to bed 4-6am and waking up at 2-4pm. My first attempt of an all nighter failed and I went to sleep at 10am and woke up at 6pm. But 2 days ago I did a succesful all nighter, went to bed at 1am and woke up at 8am, and tonight I have ruined it because of CBB live and chatting on here. Got school on Tuesday, could be tired that day!

I always used to think that pulling an allnighter and going to bed early the following night would break the habit too but I'd just go past the point of being tired, or else fall asleep on the sofa mid afternoon and then not be tired when I should be going to bed lol.

Vicious cycle!

Maybe those of us who have trouble getting a normal night's sleep are just naturally nocturnal. I've tried many times to adjust my body clock but I just end up back down the same road!

I normally go to sleep around 6am and get up around 1/2pm.

Am always pulling all nighters to try and sort myself out but after a day or two am back to the same thing.

I function better with less sleep. It's the weirdest thing ever, but it's true, so I tend not to goto bed till 5am and usually force myself to get up after about 5 or 6 hours, if I let my self sleep for a long while I won't get up properly, lol.

I wake up about six to ten times per night but manage to get back to sleep. But there are times when I am awake from about 1am to about 5am.

I usually stay up till around 3-5AM and wake up around 10AM. I dislike sleeping for long ammounts of time so ussually I only have a lie in around once a week to catch up on the hours.

I didn't fall asleep until half 8 this morning, and then my Dad came into my room and gave me pills for my cough/sneezing at half 9, then I fell asleep again and woke up at quarter to 4... ugh. I hate this habit. I've got some Night Nurse (or is it Nite? Whatever.) to take tonight, hopefully that'll send me to sleep early! I blame going into town (i.e. not getting home until 3-4) and being on here :P

I have restless leg syndrome and in general a restless mind so the only chance I have of getting a natural sleep within ten minuets of getting into bed before about 4 is to smoke weed.

I gave up trying to control anything a long time ago and I don't really have sleep patterns as such now. I just fall asleep when I feel like it and then wake up.
