Oh Gavin those ratings ARE good, they came second in the ratings for the time slot. You're trolling's gotten so boring now, you've fizzled out. The average ratings for a C4 on a normal evening is ussually 1-mid 2 million, so C4 will be very happy with that. Since the feedback has been mainly positive too I doubt the audience will drop so steeply and quickly. It could do mid way if it all goes wrong but I can't see it bombing really.

Now personally I'd love it to be back comfortably above 4m nightly, but realistically above 3m is a huge improvement on where the show was last year.

However, with the show already axed it doesn't matter - and I'm not sure I want it to do well enough to force C4 to change it's decision as I do believe that considering how they've treated the show in recent years, it was the right decision. Even if the highlights shows are the best ever, the complete lack of information between shows means it's just not Big Brother any more for me. They somehow seem to have made the website even worse than BB10 too so far this year.

Second worst ever is better than worst ever. If Big Brother can average 3m in the overnights then I think its a big success considering the final last year didn't even reach 3m with overnight ratings.

Try adding a bit of positivity to life, it might help.

3.5million is quite good, there is always a big drop from launch night hopefully they will get better

Pretty average.

Not bad at all :)

While I agree with your sentiments they would read more pleasantly if could manage to avoid any anti-beard comments.
We beard - allowers save an enormous amount of carbon - footprinting; think about it.

I'm glad it's getting good ratings.
The show needs respect seeing as it's the last one.

So do us shavers if you use a blade. And quite ironic to hint at global warming on a day like today.

They need to show more Stephen Baldwin, then the ratings will go up.

Why do people feel the need to come on here and just be negative. Just chill out and enjoy the show, your looking into it to much.

3million+ is a good figure for channel 4 and this year so far has been a success.

Big Brother is front page news again. In comparisan to last year where not even "heat" had Big Bro on the front cover.

Im really enjoying this series. And if you haters chill the ***** out im sure you will to

Stop whining you tampons!

Tom (the non-scientist)
Any hot water involved, shaving cream? How do you think blades appear on earth?
The holder? Any heat involved in its manufacture?
Carbon footprints are all enveloping, you know.

I bet they'll be down to 2.5m this time next week. Shirley Jones has disappointed me so far... I was expecting more of her.

No one ever said 3.5 was perfect. However, considering some of the ratings for BB8/9/10, it's pretty high. That and the Day 1 highlights are always far lower than the launch, with daily shows hitting their peak ratings at weeks 2 and 3.
