I have a puncture repair kit if it will help :joker:

Seriously though Tanser you need to drink less if you are drinking a lot at the moment. The high that you get is short lived and you come crashin back to earth much harder when the effects wear off.

Do you know why you feel this bad? has something happened to make you feel this way?

It ain't so much the alcohol.. i drink maybe twice a week.

I can't put my finger on one thing , it's a mixture of things. Through-out this year there are and have been things eating away at me and something happend to me this week which has really, got me down worse then any other time.

On top of that i've got stress from my work and my course which don't seem to be getting me anywhere.

And then theres pressure from my family telling me to get my life sorted (concerning my course)....

I could go on and on.

I can see why some people turn into alcoholics but i know when to draw the line and use my head.

A few people tonight have said to me both on the internet and face to face with people... that you have to try and overcome these problems and come out the over side and it will make you a stronger person.

But it's a matter of getting there first. If i haven't lost you.

I've never felt bad before, and for me to feel this bad.... it's a shock to me.

I'll just try yo look at the brighter side of the situation.

Depression is a tricky little sucker though Tanser it kind of gets it claws in when you least expect it to. When you are depressed it kind of narrows your view of the world and stops you being able to see solutions - but trust me the solutions are there, it's about working out how to tackle the things that are getting you down.

Write yourself a list of all the things that are making you feel this way - try to put them in order of worst and niggly - then look at the easy ones and try to fix them first, at least you will have a feeling that you have achieved something, and that in turn will help you to realise that nothing is hopeless!

Talking is wonderful but sometimes it is better to talk to someone other than a friend - friends have emotions invested in you and will not want to see you this way. You could try web chatting with a helpline for young people. The advice that they give you is confidential and you only have to tell them what you feel comfortable telling them. www.connexions-direct.com

Keep talking to us but think about talking to someone else as well, somewhere that you will feel able to open up honestly!

Add me on msn if you want to chat summer_10@hotmail.com

hang in there bud you will be fine we will make sure of it :bouncy:

Ah Tanser, hope the 'black dog' leaves you soon. I had a horrible depression about three years ago, and was so bad I didn't work for five months. There is nothing worse.

TIBB helped a great deal I must say.

Now, treat yourself to listening to some up-lifting life-affirming music.

Radiohead and Morrisey are always good for a laugh I find...........:bouncy:

Seriously, i join in the consensus that you need a great big cyberhug.

Can you feel the love in this thread?

Lol, there is alot of love my friend.

Thanks, i've found talking about it to people on this forum very helpful. All the people in this thread have gave me something to think about and i am highly appreciative of everything and i can probably sleep easier tonight because of it.

I've been given websites, help, advice... and all from a BB forum! Never thought i'd get such a responce!

Very uplifting to know im not the only one out there, so thats good.

Very Big Thanksssssssssssssssssssss! Mwah!

I was thinking of songs earlier and i come up with alien ant farm - smooth criminal. The boy dancing makes me laugh. And that Electric Six - Gaybar.

I go through phases of this as well. I've learnt to accept that the feeling will pass in time, and not get annoyed with myself for feeling that way. I do find music helps - personal preference when I'm feeling down is the Chilis, Stones or Robert Plant.

Look after yourself.:flower:
