I have mixed feelings on this, because I like both housemates.
I think J-J did exactly right last night in terms of approaching Rachael and telling her about his problem, that shows he is a decent guy like that.
However, when you're being told you're arrogent and not nice by a person that you really like, I understand why it really hurt Rachael. Rachael took it very calmly and she did have a bit of a cry after and that is acceptable, it really is.
J-J does some really evil, nasty sinister looks, himself so where how he can get off telling Rachael that her looks are nasty, I don't know. He says that he hasn't got to know Rachael much yet as she looks down on people, which I don't think is true, I think she is a really nice person and has a lot to give to other housemates. I think it's just one of those facial expressions that she has. She has said she will try to change, but I don't think she an change that. That is one of her facial expressions, not because she's some sort of evil bitch.
What I also disagree with is the fact that AFTER J-J has approached Rachael he still continued to Bitch about her, behind her back to Govan instead of letting it lie. Rachael was genuinley sorry last night for something she doesn't have to be sorry for, as it's not really her fault she looks that way and she told him last night she doesn't do it nastily. She really likes J-J, she said she thinks he's hot, sexy and so on and so forth last night, but he just disregarded her feelings and didn't give a **** about what she had to say. Even when Rachael was explaining herself saying she isn't arrogent and that she only means the best and she would never look down on people, he was just looking away as though he didn't give a **** about what she was doing, but yet Rachael was really upset.
Yes, Rachael went outside for a smoke with her sun glasses on as she had a bit of a cry in the bathroom and she did of course say "I can;t believe he has said that..." etc... and she had every right to say that, because she couldn't actually believe he had done what he had done, and she told the others (Shabby, Ife, Caoimhe) what he had said because they questioned her about it, however, J-J just went and bitched behind her back about everything he could.
I do believe J-J likes Rachael, as much as he puts a front on about not liking and hating girls like her, I think deep down he likes her and maybe he has been hurt in the past and if he thinks he can insult Rachael and be evil to her, it will work for him, but he is sadly mistaken as it isn't working at the moment. J-J was saying last night how he didn't have to come to her and tell her what he thought, he could have just left it, not give a **** and not given her the time of day as long as they both last in the house, BUT, he did approach her and tell her what he thought. If he wasn't bothered what she thought and if he wasn't going to give her the time of day, WHY has he been and told her what he thinks?
Some of you have said Rachael is a bitch and is evil and somebody also said that they hope the highlights show shows her in her true light. This is why I love live streaming this year, you don't have to rely on the highlights show telling you half a story, and if you watch the LS then you will see that Rachael isn't really a bad person but the highlights show may portray her to be a nasty person, when she really isn't.
The big situation with Ben too. I don't think Rachael has ever lead Ben on. I say I think when I actually KNOW she has not lead Ben on. He's not her type and she has said on many occasions she finds him a bit weird and hates the whole touchy-feely thing. Ben just isn't her type, she has never lead him on, just because Ben has feelings for her does not say the feeling is mutual... he's just an idiot that has feelings for her and never once has Rachael said anything or done anything to ben to make him think anything could or may happen, he just needs to get over himself and realise it is going nowhere...
