FFS do I have to draw diagrams for the likes of you?

I should have "pre-emptied" that.

Whether it offended her or not, I still think BB stepping in was the right thing. If he was seen to get away with behaving like this, who knows what it it could lead to.

I am not saying Sam was in the wrong, but a case of getting too carried away with the fun.

We don't know if Josie was offended or not, remember we watch the edited version.

Of course they were right to warn him, you can't just go up to someone and rub your genitals in their face without their consent. And there's always a big pressure on the woman not to complain, look how Sunshine was treated for complaining about John James exposing her underwear, and Camilla in AusBB's infamous turkey slap copped a lot of undeserved flack too:

There was a similar incident on Australian Big Brother a few years which got a lot of attention. One guy held a girl down and the other teabagged her. Both the guys got ejected.

The main warning should have been about being so unfunny it was painful to watch

Well said.

Sam is a wanker. If he did that in the outside world he get arrested.

One day Sam is going to come up against someone who won't be as polite as Josie.

I think thats why he did it to Josie, imagine if he would have done it to corin, she would have smacked him in the mouth, the annoying little ****

JEJ 02-08-2010 12:17 PM

I'm liking what Sam's bringing to the house but if he'd done that to me I'd have ripped them off! Of course they were right to speak to him.

Shiner 02-08-2010 12:33 PM

The official warning is just the BB hypocrites being seen to do the right thing. It was they themselves that showed the clip in the first place purely because of it's potential "shock" value... hence the disclaimer at the head of the show.
By the sounds of it he admitted it was a joke too far, so needn't have been pulled up for it.

fivecougz 02-08-2010 02:18 PM

I think some people here are forgetting that if you rub your crotch onto a girls mouth in public without her consent you're committing a sexual offense by law. That's a simple FACT.

Just because this is on tv and just because Josie was good spirited about it doesn't change the fact that what Sam did IS sexual misconduct. Sorry, but he crossed the line.

lol I said something similar out loud when he done that to Josie. It def warranted a warning, and think Josie handled situation quite well..couldnt have been nice but she had a little joke about it when she could have got him into alot more trouble

Jamietwo 02-08-2010 03:14 PM

yeah he needed a warning. as someone above said, if he'd done it to Corin he'd have got a slap...I believe he sees Josie as easy prey...which wether he sees it that way or not ...it is bullying ...definitely...Josie was under pressure to find it funny.

So is flashing. Double standards?

Yes, but did he admit this once BB called him on it.

If they hadn't pulled him up, he might not have seen it that way, and if that was the case, how far would he have gone with his funny pranks.

I think it warranted the warning, to avoid any possible further upset.

Jokes can be fun, but sometimes one can go too far.

setanta 02-08-2010 04:57 PM

Of course they were right to have a word with him, but sure I doubt it will have any effect, given that he said "I guess I went a bit too far." The chap is clueless.

Fair enough. I didn't see it myself, I'd only read on here that he'd said it before getting pulled in.

I presume you mean in a different bag than the one he carries them in already. Now even I would pay to watch that, you removing his two veg that is.

Beetrum 03-08-2010 10:31 PM

yeah that's like sexual harassment.

Pink Pegasus 03-08-2010 10:42 PM

I really like Sam so far and think he is adding some much needed energy and interest to the show, however I think it was right that he was warned for that.
Josie didn't seem to mind, but I think she was a bit shocked and embarrassed by it all, she did manage to give a good comeback and laugh it off though.

I would have either cried a little bit with shock, or else gone flippin mental and gotten kicked out of the house if someone shoved a fckn ballbag in my mouth!!

I think he was only having a laugh though, but it would have been a bit much to let it go without a warning.

All that aside, I'm really enjoying him in the house so far. :-)

Did you find that in the book "Things Rapists Say"?

Jords 04-08-2010 07:01 PM

A warning was fair imo, people saying he should be ejected are over-reacting, after all Josie took it in good spirit herself.
