Yes, I find that too, even when they have 3 for two on, it's a costly shop.

3 for 2 has finished now, they ended it on friday after 10 years of having it

Here:

It's near my house and even if I'm not gonna buy books, I just love going there and spend a few hours reading and having a coffee with my friends, it's a very calming and peaceful environment.

I can't wait until I'm 60 years old, retired and just spending my days at bookstores, cinemas and cafes. <3

We have Books-a-million or Barnes and Noble.

I buy from both of those places

I buy most of my books from Amazon. But that's because I live in Denmark and English books cost a fortune. I would much rather have a WH Smith or Waterstones to browse in, although Amazon is cheaper and give a very good service.

I went in earlier today and picked up American Psycho and Kafka's Metamorphosis (&other stories) for £4 for the pair. Have also got Fahrenheit 451 and Brave New World from there before - they also have some Dickens, Verne, some others I'm too tired to remember.

Other than HMV - I tend to buy from The Works a lot. Their 3 for £5 deal

i buy like 7 shelves at a time via auction and amazon

Waterstones. Although I'll often read it at the library, I often read books more than once but if I keep them for more than a few weeks they'll become too tatty.

Niamh. 03-01-2015 06:22 PM

Amazon mostly

InOne 03-01-2015 06:48 PM

Off the internet mainly but in Waterstones if there's one I want on that day

Black Dagger 03-01-2015 06:49 PM

BigSister 03-01-2015 08:52 PM

Wherever sells books I want, really. Usually Waterstones, The Works, WH Smith, Amazon.

When I'm in town and venture into a bookstore, it's possible I won't leave for a while. :laugh2:
