I think we should call housemates with their correct names.Nicknames are kind of silly.:suspect:

So how come a Rebecka fan who happens to be a mod, started that thread, would they have done it had it been any other housemate?I can remember being on here and terrible things were said about Charlie Uchea,Jade Goody,Ziggy and a few others, they were all fair game so what is different this time?and imo that one post HAS muzzled the board as people will now feel they cannot post their true feelings, just my opinion though.

Ah don't worry about that. tis what we are here for :p

All the button does is create a new thread in the admin section, asking one of us to go check out the thread

Vicky. 24-09-2011 05:59 PM

And for the record, which housemates staff personally support, has nothing to do with the punishments or whatever that they give out.

And just because one staff member makes a thread, that does not mean that they have just done it off their own back. Infact some of the time, the idea didnt even come from the person who makes the thread.

Deleted some posts in here. Try not to make everything all about 'XXXXs haters' or 'XXXs fans' or whatever. Its very rarely as clear cut as that.

Marsh. 24-09-2011 06:11 PM

Having just visited DS this afternoon, I noticed that their mods have cracked down on the level of insults in forums.

You're not allowed to make criticisms on actors or writers for Tv shows unless you show a case for both sides and make it constructive. lol

So maybe on this forum make it a rule to be constructive. You can call Alex ugly if you please but only if you make suggestions on how she can improve her looks. lol. Joking, obviously.

I agree with you.Sometimes a discussion can get heated. It doesn't matter which housemate you support.:)

I'm sure people can still post their true feelings without going too far with the hatred, it's not as if we are saying you can't say anything bad at all about housemates, I personally don't see why it would be a problem since there is better ways to get a point across than having a post full of starred out swear words detailing how much hatred you have for a housemate but not really contributing anything to the thread topic, also it has nothing do to with who staff members support, other mods including myself have already mentioned in other threads about the disgusting nicknames etc.

It's not a problem at all,but most of it on here I see as banter, where I do get peed off is when a mod can say horrible things about a contestant but we have to zip it,and how come the 'lads club' can post crude vile things about the women on there but when we say anything derogotary against their fave we are called all sorts?A couple of posters have already left because of this, good posters aswell, perhaps if I open a post with so and sos, got a hudge todger,I may fit in better, gawd Dezzy knows how to empty a room.

I said he was rubbish and overrated and that he was most likely going to flop, which is an opinion. I didn't resort to the petty name calling that some members have taken to on here. If I resorted to calling him a prostitute, cave troll or stupid nicknames then that would have been wrong. That's the difference, don't like a housemate? Fine just don't cross the line with it.

I know what you said,I was on the end of it,I will not argue with you,,it was commented on a few times, some still remember it now,but that is by the by,I for one will not be told what to say or do,I am not a child, shame that the talk about some of the girls is not kept in check, that too is wrong but because it's the 'lads' it's ok,not all of us want to listen to childish smut but we put up with it,I dont disagree that some of the posts are bad,but if someone behaves in a certain way they will get judged and talked about in a derogotary way ,people have their own way of posting about their dislikes, surely that is what a forum is for.

Well be that as it may, but when joining the forum, you agreed to following the rules. Same as you would have to anywhere else you chose to talk about the shows. If you chose not to do that, dont moan or be surprised if you get banned.

This is not a threat btw, this thread was never about anyone in particular. But if you are pretty much going to say you will not follow the rules, then you will at some point need to face the consequences unfortunately. Same as everyone else.

Because I dont quite understand what you mean by it, and I am currently watching xf while replying to you so I dont want to be writing essays, so I just picked out the bit I could answer easily. I'll come back to this after XF and BB(or maybe during BB) if you like and try to answer anything you want answered :p
