i got my lad a tablet from HMV for FB and games, cheap as chips after he knacked my lappy (cracked screen). Like ammi said save all work to memory stick, if i had not have done that i would not have a son believe me! lol!

King Gizzard 04-03-2012 10:49 PM

Get an external hardrive if you can, alot of space, fairly cheap, I keep all my stuff on there in case my laptop dies

Jords 04-03-2012 10:53 PM

Good luck Joey!

Well keyboard still not working so will have to look into getting it repaired. But like Nathan said if it turns on it's still probably saveable

I did the same with mine but with freeway cola :(
What I did was (it took bloody days to do but it worked), was take the keys off, use a cotton bud and just mop on the stickyness (wet it a bit, just a tiny bit in your mouth) and it should, should work.
It did with me :)

I managed to get it sorted and only cost £25 so that's not too bad. Apparently grey keys are more expensive than black ones, so now have black keys D:

Seems to be running a tad slow though, might have to delete some stuff

Josy 12-03-2012 01:53 PM

25 quids not bad.

Try running ccleaner or a similar program maybe deleting some old registry entries will make it run faster.

InOne 12-03-2012 01:55 PM

Is that a good one to use? I've tried using those kind of things before but can never find a good one

Josy 12-03-2012 02:12 PM

Yeah I use it quite a lot and think its alright, plus its free.

InOne 12-03-2012 02:22 PM

Cheers will have a look
