I spilt water on my laptop and it turns on but the keyboad doesn't seem to be working. I've tried using a hairdryer on it and putting it under the radiator and near the fire and still nothing. Is there anything I can do?

Take the battery out if you haven't, it will ruin the battery
I usually just leave mine for about a day and it gradually works again |

Mine had lager spilled on it not long ago and Dell said wouldn't be repairable becausse the sugar would erode the inside...but I've had a new keyboard fitted and it seems ok...you'll have to let it dry out and see

If it turned on though, that means it's still working so proppingn it up for a day or so should do the trick, a few of my keys didn't work but gradually they all did

here's where I found that anyway http://www.wikihow.com/Save-a-Laptop-from-Liquid-DamageAnd I think it's just recommendations. I don't think a hair dryer would rally damage it unless it was extremely hot. |
