They want to talk... Why is the government not talking to them?
Because they are too busy whipping the nation into a frenzy about it....

The statement Francis Maude made is a perfect example of just how out of touch the Tories are with real people. Iirc, he said to go and buy petrol, but store it in a can in your garage? Well firstly not many people have garages, and storing a flammable liquid in your house is idiotic. :joker:

God I ****ing hate these morons controlling our country.

Livia 28-03-2012 06:39 PM

Anyone is perfectly entitled not to like the Tories for whichever reasons they have, but I have to say... Francis Maude is not a great example of a politician. He's a fool and a liability. What he's doing in the cabinet is a mystery to many.

Gargantuan queue at my local petrol garage this evening, trailing out of the garage and up the road. Thanks Francis.

Maybe so, but the fact that he's in their government if he is such a fool and liability is example enough of how sh!te the Tories are imo.

I noticed the panic buying earlier too: my Dad gave me a lift home from school and he stopped off at Tesco 'cause the car was low on petrol, and there were at least 20 cars at the garage. :bored:

thesheriff443 28-03-2012 06:48 PM

its the morons that fill up their cars only to let them sit on the drive,
while people that really need it go short,

Every government has their token idiots that somehow get into the cabinet and many more in government. Yes Men and a*se-kissers.

If I can't get petrol I'm stuffed. I live nowhere near a bus route, bloody miles from anywhere. Let's hope they get this sorted out or I'll be walking.
