With obviously the fullest respect to you the truth,also while I agree with the benefits only going up by 1% which in reality means a cut to benefits as to real value since inflation will far outstrip that rise.What I don't support is the other major changes to benefits for those that are at the lower end of the scale and who are vulnerable as I detailed in previous posts.

For me, what kind of society makes scapegoats of and takes away funds from its genuinely sick and disabled, most of whom in all likelihood will have worked for decades as to the 63 year old I mentioned earlier as an example I had come to learn about.
Of course there will be those who defraud and try to cheat the benefits system and they have to weeded out, that would be supported by everyone.
However, for the genuine sick and disabled who through no fault of their own now cannot work, how can it ever be right in any society to discriminate financially against them.

That is a policy I would never support and one I thought I would never see from any Govt of the UK now in the 21st century.
