It's the catch 22 that winds me up. Most jobs now are requiring experience yet there's hardly anywhere willing to give you any. You need a job to get experience but to get the job you already require it. :laugh:

I've applied to over 50 jobs in the last two months and not even got an interview.

Jobs are very hard to find.

Oooh good luck Jemal (and everyone else)

I've only been looking for a part time job, I've started properly looking after finishing my exams and I've had one interview so far, but didn't get it. Been looking for two years now though... I've even volunteered in a charity shop. Just need to keep applying :}

And then the stigma ****ty program's like life On the Dole brandishes everyone a scrounger and we're on the cusp of making everyone work for their benefits, practically giving companies free labour so then they don't employ more paid staff, basically slave labour. ****ing ridiculous

(Not your apprenticeship mind, cause you need to be apprentices for electrical stuff, I'm talking about ****ty apprenticeships, I've seen ones for retail and waitering..)

Yeah, the apprenticeship is for 2 years anyway so it's at least 2 years of work, and they said that they want to keep on as many as possible (and the apprenticeship wage was actually increaed by 4K after we all applied)
