Yeah, this. The longer gap fills me with a bit of hope though, seeing as I'm sure I would have enjoyed the last few summer CBBs a hell of a lot more (ok, maybe not post-Frenchy CBB14...) had they not directly followed on from the regular edition.

No, I don't even know if I'm joking or not any more.

Yeah, I have a fear CBB will worm its way to 10 weeks as time goes on. Even the thought of it is enough to make the hairs on my neck stand :worry:

Perched for CBB22 (good lord :omgno:, oh wait that's in like 2 years) being 13 weeks long.

Lostie! 06-08-2015 11:39 PM

I'd actually be here for this if it's true.

The Australian version of I'm a Celebrity was almost seven weeks long so a celebrity series that length isn't out of the question (on second thoughts, their most famous celebrity was Marcia Brady so maybe not)

Was that good, btw?

I don't really bother with international versions of our shows, well not after Inbetweeners U.S, anyway

I don't know, I didn't pay much attention to it. Freddie Flintoff won so that was probably a wise decision for me to have made.

If that article is true (bloody well hope not), then that would mean CBB16 will end on Friday 2nd October.

Good lord :omgno:. That would be only 3 months seperating the January CBB. Could this hint January CBB moving to February? :omgno: this is bad (happy thoughts, happy thoughts) :worry:

CBB is best in a short, explosive dose. 5 weeks seems far too long, unless they have a really killer cast.

MB. 06-08-2015 11:56 PM

If that's true this series will be half the length of BB15 :joker: God help us all.

A much scarier thought...more than half the length of BB16

Big Brother: Actualbomb?

Big Brother: Deathtrip

(why have I started?)

Because death's more appealing a thought than a five week-long Celebrity Big Brother?

Macie Lightfoot 07-08-2015 12:01 AM

I heard IAC Australia was pretty good for what it's worth.

Anyway, I don't even think CBB14 was that bad and I'll go out there and say that it's probably as good as we're going to get in this day and age. It still had its loud and annoying centerpiece character that production feels is necessary for whatever ****ing reason, but Gary Busey was easily the least overbearing of them all so other people were still able to emerge. The supporting cast was still decent enough and provided some good material and even though a lot of them were awful human beings they weren't problematic for the most part. I'll take CBB14 any day over whatever the **** we just sat through this past January.
