Daniella said that.

Gemma said Jeremy would probably wash them for her. Which isn't in the same league as what John said and then lied about.

God he is vile.

I said about two days into this series that he will be revealed as essentially a more intelligent version of Anthony Cotton. And that is exactly what he is.

David was ill in the house for one.

Nothing soiled in any way should be left anywhere were anyone else can come across them.

There are few general things that I would make a great fuss about but this whether it be womens or mens effects is one of them.

Stephanie when they first asked, denied they were hers, had she gone out and took responsibility right off, there may have been no reason for the greater fuss that came about.

Name and shame indeed should have been done, she should be thoroughly ashamed and in fact disgusted with herself.
Even moreso to let Jeremy go and wash them, all she had to do was wash then when she changed clothing.

This is all her fault and no one elses.
Maybe that naming and shaming will make her think before ever doing such a filthy and disgusting thing again where other people are.
Had I ever found anything like that,I'd have been furious with the eventually identified culprit.

oh come on, first of all they all sleep in one room so you cant not see everyones clothes, and used panties are a health hazard? :joker:

Absolutely right, fair point and well said.

well some were declaring John's complete innocence yesterday when tiff accused him....when the opposite is found to be true it should be swept under the rug? :dazzler:

That was only because people were accusing him of hanging them somewhere, which he didn't.they were on the table, and yes John was part of it but not the sole culprit.its not been swept under the rug its been done to death, not everyone will agree on this so its just going round and round

It's not a fair point actually. Whoevers knickers they were would have been humiliated by John's actions of calling the stain pigeon ****, wanting them left displayed on the dining room table and wanting to name and shame.

I didn't say they actually were a health hazard I said they could have been, depending on what was in them.

However if you actually think it nice and right for anyone, man or woman to take off dirty underwear and even if soiled in any way, to just leave them somewhere for days, where other people can maybe find them or pick them up, rather than get them washed right off, well that's your affair.

I think it a disgusting and a filthy thing for Steph to have done and would say the same no matter as to whatever sex did it.

Then had she washed them right off and not left them for days no one could have or would have even had anything to complain about would they.
She got what she deserved, it was pure laziness and a filthy act to do just to leave them for days.
No sympathy for her whatsoever,
She should just wash any soiled underwear the moment she takes them off as anyone really decent would too, especially when sharing a house.
Just maybe this will make her wash any more right off now in future.

I love victim blaming.

Still, it distracts from John's nastiness I suppose.

She was a mucky cow leaving her knickers laying around, but that doesn't excuse what others did.

Then she should have owned up at the start when asked rather than deny they were hers when first asked and not then try to have others blamed for it.

In a pile by the bath.

Which must be true because the pile of clothes that Christopher brought in from the bathroom were all Steph's. This was confirmed when Daniella went through the pile bit by bit saying, that's Steph's, that's Steph's, that's Steph's etc..

Maru 24-01-2016 06:19 PM

Whatever his agenda is, John is smarter than your average housemate. I think that is part of the persona he is playing. Mr Calm, Cool and Collected... not really a bad game to play in that house of mostly aloof people and attention mongerers.

They ALL took the underwear incident too far. Should've just dropped it and moved on. Some just can't keep their mouths shut (Gemma) so it is too easy for people like John to fan the flames. This house is so easily riled up. However, it wasn't really his fault that people clung to that so much... this is where he is playing such a good game. Say what you will, but he is creating entertainment in any otherwise boring atmosphere of attention mongerers.

You got to admit that is vile though. Leaving those my the communal bath and then denying it so that either Megan or Dani would get the blame.

Initially she was probably mortified. Hardly surprising really.

She was laying down with the guy she fancies while John kept on about the dirty knickers with pigeon **** in the gusset.

It is nasty but I don't think she was trying to shift blame I think she was mortified about it and couldn't admit that they were hers.

Well don't leave them by a bath if their discovery would mortify you.

She has a rep for doing this in the house. Megan was giving her grief for leaving her underwear around days before all that.
