I don't think Shilpa was spoiling for an argument. She was in the kitchen with Cleo and everything was fine. Shilpa asked where the stock cubes were and Cleo said that the girls had had them. There were a lot of people in the house - to have that many stock cubes was selfish. Shilpa made the point, and then she walked away. It was Jade who kicked off (making a point is not the same as kicking off), and carried the argument on.

I think she went out of her way and positively engineered it. She's a clever lady, and she picked the perfect moment to strike while the iron was hot. Her whole point of starting an argument over a few Oxo cubes was absolutely pathetic, and again it's ridiculous that it's being brushed under the carpet. She went on and on and on, because she needed to keep the argument stoked until it exploded. At that part of the argument, Shilpa was 100% in the wrong. And if Jade had only kept her mouth shut at that point, we perhaps wouldn't be here now. But I think Shilpa would've seized another moment to contrive something in due course. And yes, Jade kicked things off for the second part of the argument, after much provocation from Shilpa earlier. She should have left it as it was. The stills of Jade at full throttle weren't nice to see, nor was some of the language she used nice to hear. But her stance was correct all the same, even though she should've left well alone after part one.

Charlotte Sometimes, you need to EDUCATE yourself. Where in the world did you get the idea that only indian people are captivated by the whole Bollywood scene. I have friends of different ethnicities who prefer to see an Indian movie rather than say, a western one, for various reasons. Italians for example love indian movies and so do lots of English, Norwegians etc who are here and abroad. I think that it is only you living in your own little tiny world, lacking a global outlook and sounding completely and utterly like someone with a partial chav mentality. Examine yourself closely. Get out. Get around. Live life more fully.

Because that's Jade. What you see is what you get with her. Foul mouthed? Yes. Moron? Probably. Ignorant & Jealous? Defiantly. Jade doesn’t exactly practice what she preaches, but she stands up for what she believes, although she doesn’t exactly go about it the right way. I think Jade didn’t like Shilpa because she was too controlling and when Shilpa started off about the Oxo cubes it tipped Jade over the edge. It was a stupid pathetic argument and there was no need for it.

I totally agree that what you see is what you get with Jade. The trouble is - what you see isn't very nice, and therefore what you get isn't very nice.

We can only summise what actually happened! The Big Brother show has editors who have NO choice, but to edit it down from 24 hours to less than 1 hour of footage.

What everybody saw, was the juicy bits. The argument, especially. That helps the ratings significantly!

We may have missed, what started all this off. Maybe Shilpa patronised Jade Goody in something very small, but Jade Goody held back, but was boiling with anger inside?

We just don't know. Try not to judge her completely, by what you see. Jade Goody will argue and say stuff. She get's angry and likes to tell people, in a way, which differs to Shilpa Shetty. She is a completely fifferent type of person. More well mannered and a different attitude.

She is NO better than Jade Goody, just different.

The "Race" issue is always going to come to mind, as it is the point that, "Gordon Brown" made, while being in India.

Bad timing or good timing? who knows and who cares!

Jade Goody is now fighting to get back to some kind of normality. She shall continue to try and I hope she wins.

Some positive response would be great.


Give Jade Goody a reason to believe that she can fight and can win. She deserves a "let-off", for such a minor thing, which should not have become so major.

No long winded explanations from apologists will change the simple and basic facts in the case of Jade Goody.

On a more serious note it all stemmed from jealousy, insecurity and the fact that jade was intimidated by shilpa's confidence and intellegence which all led to hatred and racist overtones; shilpa wasn't a follower like jo and danielle which could have gotten to jade, and so it was a clash of two strong personalities.

Jade Goody did admit that she was rather bullyish towards Shilpa and was going to make ammends.

The Shilpa/bullying thing was not that bad. It was much worse on other reality shows, with Jade Goody, not even being there. Other housemates causing havoc.

Jade Goody is in demand, much more, when her acted bad behavior is present. It makes everyone money and Jade Goody will make the person who she has had a slight disagreement with, much better, with a hug usually and some sympathetic words from a nice girl, who does not bear grudges.

Look at the argument again on Youtube.com and see when Shilpa could have easily had opportunities to hault things.
