Have you seen the results of FtM SRS? I am fairly sure a bottom couldn't do anything with that either tbh.

Strap-ons are a thing, use your imaginations people!

smudgie 06-01-2018 09:35 PM

No, I don’t think so.
However I do have a crush on Courtney so my straightness is shook.

Shaun 06-01-2018 09:38 PM

Depends entirely on the person rather than their biology.

Cal. 06-01-2018 09:39 PM

Yeah why not?

Incase anyone's interested this is an article I found about a YouGov survey that was done on this (the results were that less than 20% of people would date a transgender person but I haven't read the whole thing)

Osjama 06-01-2018 10:24 PM

its an interesting result. Thing is, the actual "dating" demographic is pretty small. I mean I answered the poll but have been in a relationship for years and wouldn't be dating so my answer is completely irrelevant

From that link...why on earth would so many not be friends with a trans person. I find that quite odd. Not having sex with them I understand, but friends? Unless people answering had a lot of experience of transactivists I guess. If I only knew transactivists I wouldn't want to befriend any of them either...horrid people, from my experience.

Don't worry it's just hypothetical, you wouldn't be under any contractual obligation to start dating one :p

I haven't read much of it, just glanced, but I noticed there was something about the number of people considering them to be suffering from mental disorders to be high... maybe that has something to do with it. At a guess I'd also assume that some people might worry about their social standing in general - being seen with a transsexual, worrying about what their other friends and/or family might think. If other people might think they were in a sexual relationship with them. Or fear that a transsexual person might try and have sex with them. I don't know there's probably a bunch of reasons.

edit to add: I doubt a significant number of people would have had experiences of transactivists tbh

Its a tough scenario but if i was faced with the amount of head**** problems India has i would run a mile no matter what sex some is or was ! to put all those issues onto someone else is massive. India needs to work on her issues before she can expect any respect from anyone - cos she sure ain't shown an ounce for anyone else.

Yes because he/she is happy with who they are and feel they have nothing to prove. Unlike India who is proving herself to be in need of some very good counselling before she alienates everyone.

I wrote about this on another thread but to be brief I think if you are straight then you are attracted to the opposite sex so it's likely you wouldn't date a trans sexual because you wouldn't fancy them. I have never seen someone who is trans that you couldn't really tell by looking at them and most people start relationships with some physical attraction.

There is also the question of children, most couples want a family and that would be a factor for some people.

Yeah this tbh

What’s interesting is I was about to click yes as I imagined being fine developing a relationship with a trans woman if I had feelings no problem (I’m bisexual) but then I imagined a relationship with a transgender man and tbh I am a bit hmmm and I don’t know why! the answer isn’t neccesarily no but I did have to think about it!

Maybe it’s because I prefer guys and the thought of having sex with a post-op trans woman would be fine but idk I guess the thought of a post op man who I’d subconsiously think as a women/used to be a woman just wouldn’t do anything for me sexually I don’t think even though I am somewhat attracted to women.

I have literally never thought about that until now !

empire 07-01-2018 12:47 AM

no

mr rochester 07-01-2018 12:49 AM

India is the worst possible person to represent her own demographic.
