Sorry for ANOTHER trans thread but based on the other thread about this I thought a poll on it would be interesting.

So given the scenario that you're attracted to someone, and then later find out they are actually transsexual, would you still be willing to pursue a relationship with them despite their trans status? The poll is anonymous so be honest!

Yes, assuming that everything is how you like it and it's just the status of being trans/their past gender, that was the issue

I would try my best to look past the fact they used to be male and just see them as female, but there would probably always be something in the back of my mind making me not want to go any further forward with it all. I don't know, really. It's a tough question.

I'm attracted to both genders so on paper it shouldn't be an issue, but somehow I can't see it happening. I wouldn't write it off though.

I wouldn't or at least I'm pretty sure I never would. I wouldn't really care that they were another gender before except it's just a turn off for me.

As much as I would like to say yes, I find it less likely to happen (though it doesn't mean it can't happen at all, and emotions are not something you can control). FTM do have a certain physical disadvantage which I'm not sure if I could get past it.

I think you need to specify how far along transition they are tbh. I would not even if fully transitioned, as I have seen the results of SRS and know what its all made of and such and the thought would just freak me out tbh. Also I cannot imagine being into someone with a penis and large fake tits together, of who looks like a male person and has a fanny... I am actually bi but I just cannot see myself ever going there with a transsexual person should the oppurtnity arise. Maybe out of curiosity if I was drunk, but I think thats probably a worse answer than a flat out no :S
