Call yourself old school!!!

I’m not much younger than you, plus bar staff these days are barley legal to be behind a bar.

Times have changed.

So was I intitled to a replacement.

Once you've bought and paid for it it's your property and thus your responsibility Parm... it's not up to the staff to guard it.

Similar situation for me is when people leave money sat in a machine then piss off outside for a cigarette, and then kick off when someone has walked out with their money .

Chuff is a delight..and she can take a joke.

I think I did rather well then to get it replaced...and then drink the other one when i found it when i went for yet another piss.

Marsh. 30-04-2019 10:18 AM

Annoyed me when I went to the loo and my remaining half a pint had been swiped by the idiot glass collector.

Always spit in your own drink Parmy, that way if it gets nicked, at least you have the satisfaction of knowing some dick is drinking your drink with spit in it :)

:joker:oh that's a great one.

Really made me laugh thinking of that.

Imagine threatening to call the police over a drink

Saph 30-04-2019 11:30 AM

no everyone knows its a rule that if you find a drink at the bar with no owner you grab it and run

I used to go to the cloakroom and take other peoples drinks while they were outside :skull: im so lucky ive never had a spiked drink lmao

Amy Jade 30-04-2019 11:35 AM

You'd have probably gotten in more trouble for bothering the police over something so trivial

Crimson Dynamo 30-04-2019 11:37 AM

imagine leaving a drink undrunk?

:worry:

Crime is crime...I would sue them if they ridiculed me.

A drink that cost me 10 quid...the other one was the one I wanted as my free second one.

Just think about it...you could actually go out and get pissed for free at the expense of honest people....well not this one I'm afraid, this one will stop a pub in its tracks if he loses his over priced drink.

If i'm a regular in a bar, i would get another for free without asking, but if you are a stranger, the only reason they would replace your drink is to shut you up, and that could easily have gone the other way and you would have been thrown out.

It's up to me to report it to the police if it's stolen then.....which is also when they buckled and agreed with me and started making my new one.

I'm far far to charming in an argument for that to even come close to happening..:nono:

They poured it not to shut me up but to save face cause they knew I was right.

Cherie 30-04-2019 03:50 PM
