Its not an international anything, its a issue in the middle east that does not affect the UK

and as no one has attempted an answer i suspect no one knows why but it is very concerning

It is an international thing

Yet again debate with you is rendered pointless by your willful questioning of the most basic facts

the blind Corbyn loyalty continuously on display would shock me if it hadn't happened 100 times before

true, the whole ''palestine-israel'' conflict has been discussed not only in the EU but also in the UN, so yes it is an international thing

This is no kind of leadership. The antisemitism has been one of his biggest problems and once again he has failed to address it.

Found this interesting article today thought I'd share.
Regarding recent yougov polls.

Can you think of any examples of leadership in the last 3 years?

Crimson Dynamo 04-08-2019 11:16 AM

from Corbyn i mean

Just because less people explicitly agree with obviously outdated stereotypes does not mean anti-Semitism has decreased. I also suspect many more would agree with the statements if you changed the word 'Jew' to 'Zionist' in the statements

Also that article is from March 2018 while a report released this week found that there had been a spike in anti-Semitic incidents in the country and in the Labour party

Saw a brief piece in Metro saying there's been 10% increase on last year
Very worrying

That is blatent whataboutism. .. what if the questions were different? You can suspect all you like it won't make it true. There has been a spike in antisemitism. ..however there has not been a spike in the labour party. You made that bit up.

It kind of upsets me to see people still backing Corbyn while being in possession of all the facts. The same people who always take the time tell everyone they're not anti-Semitic themselves, of course....

What facts? It would seem your facts and my facts are very different ... all this indirect accusing is getting very boring Livia.

smudgie 04-08-2019 03:42 PM

No doubt about the anti Semitism in the Labour Party. Hence the inquiry.
Corbyn does not help the situation any. A fully independent investigation is needed.
Not another Chakrabarti fiasco.
That does not however mean that all Labour members are anti Semitic, or that criticism is aimed at them personally.

Time for a regime change, Corbyn, despite a promising start, has been a weak leader and has allowed this problem to fester. He needs to go and Labour needs to be expunged of this rot.

Crimson Dynamo 04-08-2019 04:24 PM

I thought perhaps Tom Watson was going to be the new leader and then...

:skull:

who else is there?
