...when we record our voices ...why don’t we recognise our own voice as us...?...our own voice is the most familiar voice to us of any and yet we don’t recognise it if it’s played to us...?...but then on something like Zoom or WhatsApp vid or something of the like...it’s back to being our voice again...

Ammi 23-04-2021 09:43 AM

...I wonder why the use of ‘voice’ so many times in that post, such awful grammar...I wonder why...

I wonder why people still flush wet wipes and put fat down the sink :fist:

Why do I keep finding spiders in the barn and shed when flies never really go in them?

Woodlice etc., they eat all insects not just flies :hee:.

Not everyone, that'd be the ideal way to go tbh

Does expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected?

Omg same. The joys of being a woman.

Everything is Covids fault so I'd blame the virus.

Ugh, it's awful, my mooncup has leaked 4 times in the past three days.

Why people idolise and dedicate their lives to following a pop star/singer.. Teenagers I can understand and even young adults, but once you’re reaching 30 it’s time to re-evaluate I reckon.

Is ageing/life really as quick as people say it is? Terrified of suddenly blinking and my life being over. My dad says life goes by fast but my mam says it doesn’t so idk.

....I suspect that it probably goes by around the same pace for both of them, Cal......I think that its more in reflection that time feels to have gone by more quickly ...and that might be something that you feel anyway in looking back to school times etc...

Honestly once you hit 30 it seems to start absolutely flying past, it is a bit worrying :umm2:. At one point I lost an entire year... I was talking about a friend's wedding and I was like "Wow that was 8 months ago already" and then someone pointed out that it was the PREVIOUS September... so in fact 20 months... and I had a bit of an existential crisis at that point. Like I legitimately thought it had been less than a year, but it was nearly 2 years.

...me back in the day when I would quickly log onto TiBB for 5 minutes...
