I don't think it's really possible to do it as "a decade" because there's too much overspill at either end. Basically I'd say the 80's overall but as a 20 year span, 1975 - 1995.

This is true, take the 80s for example, the early 80s were the working bands from the late 70s, whilst the late 80s, were manufactured piss.

It should be an overlapping poll.

But then you got other bands late 80s like the stone Rose's, and the rest of the manchester scene...taking us into the early 90s, which was also let down by its later years.

If I ask anyone else about these groups they will say ‘80s groups’, so you select 80s on the poll

1) , peak 1982-1984
2) , peak 1982/83
3) peak 1980/1
4) 1983-86

Ok so other than the awful, short lived period of these bands in the 90s, which I would put 91-93, what else is so good about 94-99? Spice Girls? :nono: take that? :nono: Oasis? :nono:

Tbf Oasis and Take That aren't bad groups.

Plus there was Blur, Stereophonics, Radiohead and of course Aqua.:joker:

90's was definitely my second choice for anyone that cares.

There’s a pattern , Everyone who voted 60-80s, is under 25 , meanwhile all the 90-2010s are middle aged

00's for me, my teen years

and music wise, i count 00's decade also with songs from late 90's (since most of those became hits in my nation in the 00's)

nederpop (dutch language pop) has always been quite fun here, 00's has been lesser popular than other years but i personally liked it back then

00s I think. But 80s stuff is pretty decent too. As a DJ it was almost always 80s stuff I was asked for. Pretty much constantly which I think put me off a lot of it as I heard it too much
