No, I do not think so.

I disagree,
Sometimes things happen that shouldn’t really happen
People fall in water and get themselves out

Cherie 26-06-2023 02:01 PM

I think it was a freak accident, she slipped, the coldness of the water combined with what she was wearing, she had under a minute to get out before she lost consiousness...

she did not fall out a boat into a Scottish deepwater loch

she "fell into" a slow-moving shallow stream :nono:

she fell into 4 meters of water and the cold water shock would have made her gasp and she would have lost consciousness in under a minute according to the experts :nono:

and in that whole minute she could have stood up and walked out

are these the experts that could not find her till a dog walker said "what is that body doing there in the river?"

What do you think happened LT, what do you think they're covering up?

I just find it odd

1. They could not find her body for weeks and someone spies it right where they have been searching
2. The whole she fell in bolloxio
3. If it was suicide this is an incredibly odd way to do it
4. why come out with the alcohol and menopause stuff?
5. The whole blaming people for being interested in the case schtick
6 the partner seemed unaware she was suicidal?

among other things

I just can't think of what they would be covering up and for what reason

thesheriff443 26-06-2023 04:31 PM

A man working in a steel plant was recently found with only his waist and legs left after he tripped and fell into molten steel

It’s like walking past a wall or under a tree for years then one day it falls down and kills some one, a couple of seconds either way and the person would have survived

I just feel that something is way wrong here and they are covering incompetence. Experts, shown to be far from experts, becoming experts again and knowing how it all unfolded - nope

bots 26-06-2023 04:40 PM

i think there was a huge dose of incompetence. That independent diver who loved the sound of his own voice, criticising everything, and at the end of it all was shown to be talking complete bollocks sure didn't help. The police not coming out with information in a timely manner to quash speculation was another. The rest was the media being completely unprofessional

Cherie 26-06-2023 05:56 PM

A witness heard a scream, not a terrified scream but the type of scream that you would hear if someone jumped out at you, I think she slipped, screamed went under and gasped at the cold water shock at which point she was toast...dont forget she was wearing two puffy type jackets which would immediately weigh her down...freak accidents happen all the time

MYTH #1: Falling into cold water kills you because your wet clothes pull
you down. Fact: Wet clothes only weigh you down when you're getting out of
the water. This concept that clothes aren't heavy in the water is often difficult
for people to understand unless they have experienced it themselves.

Yes Good Points
Cherie,

AnnieK 26-06-2023 07:49 PM

They have said her weight and size means taking one breath in water fills your lung with 1-2 litres of water.......2 litres being the fatal amount so she probably died in two breaths. The shock of the fall, coupled with the cold water temps probably led to her not trying to stand and sadly she drowned.

There is certainly some Police incompetence during the search but sadly it looks like a very tragic accident.

have you even jumped in a swimming pool

even a cold one

to pretend that falling into a river is a life sentence is quite ridiculous

a healthy woman slips down the side of a shallow riverside and drowns is BS

I trust in the medical experts who examined her.....did the autopsy and actually reviewed the findings. Why do you think you know more than these people?

You are doing exactly what you mock for people for who question the McCanns and the Police investigation over Madeline's disappearance.

bots 26-06-2023 08:03 PM

she drowned is all we know. It may have been suicide, it may have been an accident. There was no evidence of foul play, there was no note.

The simple truth is she is dead and it really doesn't matter if it was suicide or an accident, she is still dead

jumping into a swimming pool and falling into a moving freezing river in January are two completely different things, you know you are going to jump so you are prepared to hold your breath, you lose you footing on the side of a river and fall in are two different scenarios

Yes she is dead and yes there was water in her lungs meaning she was alive when she entered the water

But because of everything that was done and not done everything that was said and not said the time between disappearing and being found there will always be more questions than answers

Grow up

She has drowned, the woman died. Your armchair forensics impress no-one.

And as no-one else witnessed it....we will probably never know

Neither do your desperate attempts to comply with authority
