::: Boxer ::

Boxers are high-energy dogs who require plenty of exercise to remain calm.
Without exercise, they may become hyper or aggressive. Similarly, without proper training or socialization, boxers may exhibit fear-based aggression, particularly with strangers and children.

It makes sense looking at what nearly happened to the kid.

Another sad case

It’s madness to ban Pitbulls (which 90% of Americans own!) but it’s ok to own an extra large Pitbull-cross !!

It’s like banning .177 air pistols for lads but saying you CAN have a far more powerful .22 one with laser sights .

It says they bought this dog online, so they couldn't possibly know the dogs history. So many dogs sold online are stolen, overly aggressive or banned breeds....What were they thinking :(
As for the man who was killed, that's tragic. Its unbearable to imagine what he must of gone through. Too many gangs are now using bully types as weapons of fear. It does need to be sorted out, but lets remember, most vicious dogs are an extension of their owner.

Dogs get jealous. That's why they attack in families.

The owner of that Crazy XL Bull Dog
was not arrested.

He was told off?

The 11 year old girl was attacked first
that lad running got the dog away from her

At somepoint the owner took the lead off?

Just to say on this, a dog should NOT be scared around strangers, a frightened dog is a red flag... if the dog is scared it's in fight or flight mode, "flight mode" = a scared looking dog... if it ends up feeling cornered or trapped there's a HUGE risk that it will become aggressive out of fear. If you have a dog that seems nervous around people that's something you need to work on with training FAST and before you have it around people.

Dogs should really only have two modes around strangers (assuming the stranger is just being a normal person):

1) Happy/welcoming/playful or

2) Disinterested. Some dogs are less social and it's fine if they just stay calm and ignore people entirely.

I do say that this is around people who are just acting normally. Obviously if a stranger is being weird, threatening or aggressive then most dogs will be wary of them or even protective of their owners.

Not mine though, she literally has zero loyalty and would silently watch someone mug me and then probably go home with them if they offered her a treat. :oh:

People get huffy about banning breeds based on the argument that the problem is the owner / lack of responsibility, not the dog itself.

I would counter with this: A gun is an inanimate object, it has not motivations at all and literally can't do anything at all without being in someone's hand.

We still banned those.

Ban them . I'm not saying we have to seize or do anything at all with the ones people already have as pets... just ban breeding & sale. It literally affects no one at all. Just stop breeding them. Get a different dog breed. No one "needs" to have a certain breed of dog. In 10-15 years time the problem will be massively reduced.

What happened when they banned Pit Bulls and any cross bred Pitt Bulls ??

Were they just illegal to breed , buy and sell
Or where all the existing ones all disposed of ??

And omg!:joker: I'm sure that your Dog is more loyal than you're giving her credit for... I hope.
