The thing is what most people don't realise is America heavily relies on the UK and the UK could financially cripple them with tarrifs and sanctions if they chose to

Beso 02-04-2025 09:12 PM

It's like Eurovision.

That's true but there's enough global demand for that product to mitigate it to some extent

:hehe:

''Liberation Day'' also having the balls to call it that, like literally

maybe for the super rich americans, but not for the working class americans

no more imports from all those nations, the working class will suffer quite a lot :(

and as if we in europe have many american products :laugh2:

Renault - NOPE

Fiat - NOPE

Aston Martin - NOPE

Toyota - NOPE

Unilever - NOPE

but yeah if Trump wants the working class americans to really hate him with everything they got, this is the way to go, and as for Vance, shame on him for going along with the elites like a sheepie, rather than staying loyal to where he comes from

Nicky91 03-04-2025 07:05 AM

oh boo hoo, we don't have Ford anymore

never liked that outdated pre-war crap brand of car anyway

Looks like he's not put any tariffs on Pharma so far which was a big concern for us in Ireland

He did mention that the US import alot of their antibiotics so I think he is looking to start up production at home

There's loads of Pharma in Ireland and especially in Cork, I'd imagine he's just not wanting to upset his supply until he can move more to the US, it's a big undertaking though, not sure that's doable in one term for him. But yeah that would hit us very badly.
