NOTHING is right or wrong, it is merely opinion. There is absolutely nothing to say murder or abortion is wrong. I don't have to explain why I think abortion is right. I've already been through it anyway.

Damn, this is just annoying as those "MEAT IS MURDER" protests.

"It isn't even a human being"

why?

explain

Feel free to explain to me why you think murdering a life is acceptable, i'm all ears.

So your a hardcore vegan who takes care not to step on flowers or squish bugs?

Life is experience. The good things, the bad things. Life begins at birth. Before that you are an empty template. I have no problem with women aborting foetuses in the early stages. What is it exactly? Where do you draw the line?

If you consider an aborted foetus to be killing a life, then I'm rubbing a few civilizations off my chest with a tissue after I have a wank, surely? Where do you draw the line?

To me life is thought. Not a series of biological functions by an organism in the early stages of it's development. If your all for saving a 'life' which countless other species are capabale of dwarfing in terms of cognitive function, then you had better not be eating chicken tonight. After all, it exhibits far more signs of life than a fucking egg.

You don't get what I'm saying. To say murder is wrong is not a fact. It is an opinion. I never said I think murder is right. Oh, well, I am pro-choice, so maybe I did, hehe.

Sorry, but I'm not going to try to rationalise with a religious nut. We are going to bump heads on pretty much everything.

Right on.

Virtually every animal on the planet can feel pain. It's hardly a hallmark of human life.

Right on.

Very later on in the pregnancy. To say that a little foetus or embryo can feel pain is just moronic.

I am not disputing that. All i'm saying is that i don't think it's right to kill a baby when in the majority of cases if you hadn't wanted one you could have avoided it in the first place.

I never said they could. If you look i have never actually said anything about abortion very early on, that's a different thing to killing a foetus which is actually a life.

I don't think it's right to kill a baby either. I don't support a womans choice to kill a baby. I support a womans choice to kill a young foetus. If you think they compare in any way, shape or form then so be it, but that is where we differ.

I agree with you. Many women even use it as the new contraceptive.

The option should always be there, however. If a woman wants to have an abortion, if she feels like a child would be a burden, she should be allowed that choice.

It is not moronic and unless you can back that up I would not make the call. I am still waiting on your rape stats?

Why do you need rape statistics, LT? It happens, doesn't it? That's all you need to know.

It is a red herring. the numbers are so small noone one would seriously use it for legislation. It is just a line that folks like you troop out with little thought

its not so much proof as we all know that it can happen but it is the tiny numbers that fully undermine it as an argument for abortion.

I know what your getting at, yeah. But it's hardly the only argument for abortion. I do think a good reason is needed.

When a pregnant woman, one who intends to have the baby born, looses that baby the reaction is always as if that baby is alive and a real human (same if she is murdered or dies). noone ever says "oh well at least it was not a human" and so forth...

I assume because it was a wanted pregnancy. Nobody is going to say "at least it was not a human" because that would be an arsey thing to do.

Different attitude altogether.

More like a case of wishful thinking! It will not become illegal in this country -because women do have a say what happens to their own body's in the developed world in the 21st Century! Once again LT you sit up there on your high horse thinking you and other like-minded people have the right to impose their views on others! Fortunately - you don't!

The situation in Oaklahoma is just emotional blackmail - a desperate, low act!

Stu 06-05-2010 06:57 AM

... wow, the self imposed ban didn't last long, did it?

WOMBAI 06-05-2010 07:00 AM

Anything - to disappoint you! Comments such as 'now Wombai has gone' just a red rag to a bull!

And comments such as 'he will be back, he needs TIBB more than it needs him!' are fondly remembered by yours truley, especially in light of the fact that I never left, and you did. It's hillarious. Super hillarious.

Touched a nerve did I! Remember away!

Stu 06-05-2010 07:13 AM

No, no, no nerves. It's just ... pretty damn hillarious. Funny watching you try and turn it back with abstract, meaningless 'touched a nerve' comments, too. Just damn good fun, s'all I'm saying. I think I'm at peace. I have this to look back at anytime I feel like I am getting worked up on here.

I can smile. It's great.

WOMBAI 06-05-2010 07:22 AM

Some more?

That would indicate that I have jumped on bandwagons in the past. Do tell. I believe you may be full of shit. Cashing cheques with your keyboard that you can't prove later on is part of your reputation, right?

Anyway, congratulations on a highly successful forum exodus.

I cant believe the polling stations in Eireland will be closed, the lazy gits. No wonder that country has gone to the dogs if they cant be bothered to vote. As part of England the Queen should make them get out of the bars and vote.

They are nothing but a poor mans Greece that bunch..
