If that is what happens, how come all those oversized pics find their way into Sigs?

You use a picture URL. You do this inside the signature [IMG]yourimageurlhere[/IMG]
But in the avatar you just put the image URL in the box provided, you will not have to use BB code (Forum code) :blush:

Think James means avatars, sigs don't get resized unfortunately :p

One thing is for sure, Mizzy (God bless her) will be more confused from reading this thread than she was before.
