Oh i love a good debate more than anyone but of something a bit more meaningful and interesting hence why i started a 'Debate' thread a few months back but the lack of interest made it go down, down and is now lost.

Also, i meant threads in general, not just the one your complaining about, i meant in general. Oh and i hope that 'live a lotto' weren't aimed at me because i do a lotto of living thanks and by god i love it. :wink:

Yeah, all nice, nice isn't the most fun but a lot of people take things out of proportion most of the time without realising and your personality aint the easiest to 'grasp' is it? :bigsmile: But yeah, it's all well and good untill someone loses an eye. :whistle:

Personly I hate the clickiness at the moment on TiBB. I dont mind the nominations thread, its nice to see what people think on the forum. But to "big" up friends just because you feel like it is getting a bit dull.

Does it matter that Tanser doesnt post? No..... just because he's not an "active" poster doesnt mean he can have an opinion does it?? I've known him since I joined and I find his post funny and very toungue and cheek. :wink:

People read what they want to read though without thinking with a different viewpoint... like people here have taking it personal and decided to take it as a personal vendetta against them.

If i wanted to get personal i would, i can find many a topic that would have people up in arms but i choose to keep a level of peace in my threads but still cling to that bit of, whats the word, its on the tip of my tounge, controversy. That way people will reply and voice there opinions and actually strive for a responce to know what they think!

If something is bothering me I will try and put my point across and try and open up a debate so that I can hear other peoples views too

But you mentioned that Tanser was inactive, that shouldnt remove his right to say how he feels?

I can understand both points of view as Tanser was giving in his opinion on it which as it is a public forum he should be able to do so although on this matter, i disagree completely as i vote in the awards etc and they are good and all the rest of it.

And on the other hand i can understand why people are getting wound up because Tanser is a smart ar$e but admits it but also because the awards are a positive thing so 'what's the problem'? But as people have said, that's all part of a forum to debate and discuss.

Also, i doubt people are going to be put off voting etc Simon just because somebody has a different opinion to them and don't like the idea - i'd like to hope they wouldn't anyway.
