All of the films are in their original language with subtitles in Portugal, the only ones that get dubbed are kids films. There were lots of scenes in Spanish in the Assassins Creed film and they had Portuguese subtitles, I was able to understand all of them. I have watched films I am familiar with in Portuguese, such as Shrek and Tangled without issue too. I may have trouble watching an original Portuguese film though, not because of the language but because of the speed that the characters are talking, it takes me time to "hear portuguese", if that makes sense. :joker:

Well it is not much easier since I still don't know anyone here. :joker: I usually only get a chance to speak to Portuguese people on weekends since my boyfriend only speaks English to me. I do put a lot of effort into studying though, I do a variety of grammar, reading and listening exercises every day. I'm getting better slowly but surely. :)
