This bloody marketing led rip off event is coming up, how do you feel about it?

Every bloke hates it but has to endure it for to keep their partners happy. How does in work with the gays in so far as in the hetro world its as I say blokes just pretend to like it to please women who really love it - I mean if a bloke forgets or does not do something romantic it will be a massive issue and could lead to a break up, its that serious.

I've always enjoyed it when I've been going out with someone, it's just an excuse to make plans and do something special and memorable, but being single it's just another day, although I've got a friend who buys all his friends presents on Valentines ... he takes it a bit far but I get a present so I'm not complaining.

I've never latched on to Valentines Day (maybe because I got so few cards when young!!) But to me it's just one more excuse to guilt trip people into spending money they can't afford for crap.
