I just want it all settled, Pienaar and Arteta, I don't think either of them are going anywhere but I don't like the uncertainty lol. I'm really liking the look of Gueye for us for next season, he's played really well on the Oz tour, he's fast and strong :) Interested to see how Beckford works out as well. |

Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia pushed closer to exit door after friendly snub
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has pushed error-strewn goalkeeper Manuel Almunia to the exit door after he failed to pick him for last night's friendly against Sturm Graz, according to the Daily Star. Almunia, 33, has been linked with a switch to Atletico Madrid after the Gunners supremo was rumoured to have lost faith in him. As Goal.com UK exclusively revealed, Fulham's Mark Schwarzer has been lined up for a player/coach role after Wenger insisted the number one spot at the club was up for grabs. The squeeze on Almunia was tightened after he watched from the stands as he chose to go with Polish pair Lukasz Fabianski and Wojciech Szczesny in the 3-0 win against the Austrian side. The Spaniard had missed the weekend clash against Barnet with flu but was given the all clear to be selected yesterday. I feel sorry for Almunia, hes a better keeper than fabianski, hes an awesome keeper on his day just makes the occasional error. Arsenal vs Man united semi final of champions league, we lost 1 - 0, he made like 6 world class saves and about 8 great saves that match was great. |
Frey is availible

Do you think Villa will be after Rodallega from Wigan?. |
Hopefully not, hes crap and they want 12m for him

Here's how mad things are at Liverpool:
For Sale: Lucas. Ngog. Kyrgiakos. Plessis. Itandje. Cavalieri. Degen. El Zhar. And apparently Johnson and Aquilani aswell. Undecided: Kuyt. Babel. Skrtel. Maxi. Safe: Gerrard. Torres. Carragher. Agger. Reina. Mascherano. Transfers Almost Complete: Riera. Insua. Nemeth. New Signings: Cole. Jovanovic. Wilson. Shelvey. Most of the youngsters futures still not decided. My guess is that Ayala and Kelly will stay because they got runs in the first team last season and looked good. And Pacheco is amazing so I hope Roy keeps him. Mascherano is safe at the club if he wants to stay, but I'm 90% sure that he will decide to leave. |
Looks like Relegation
|
13 Million for Lucas (he improved a lot last season, would like him to stay), 6 Million for Ngog.
Apparently we've had an offer of 1.5 million for Degen accepted. Plessis and Ngog are rumoured to have been offered with some money to Nice to Remy. |
13 Mil for Lucas, What is the world coming to?
|
13 Mil for the future of Brazilian football

My favourite player mr villa, has joined the list of twats. David Villa joins list of Barcelona players urging Arsenal’s Cesc Fabregas to join them David Villa has added his voice to the long and growing list of Barcelona players who have publicly urged Cesc Fabregas to leave Arsenal for the Nou Camp this summer. The Spanish international who had a busy summer in himself moving to the Catalan club, from Valencia, as well as scoring five goals to help Spain to their first ever World Cup victory. The £34.2 million striker insists if it were down to him Fabregas would leave north London and return to the club whose youth system he was schooled in Arsenal are already reported to have turned down an opening offer of £25 million from Barcelona, though Villa is confident that Arsenal will eventually be forced to part with one of their finest players. “I am not the Barcelona coach, nor the person responsible for reinforcements, but personally I will do the maximum to get Cesc here,” said Villa. “He wants to play here and it will be quite normal if Arsenal finally do a deal. That would be great. A player of his ability will only increase our power. “He’ll help Xavi and Andres Iniesta – and I will score more goals with him in the side.” LOL!!! 25million? thats the last time i listen to the telegraph.. it was 29m.. |
CITY WON'T BID £30M FOR MILNER
The papers seem unsure of what to make of the latest chapter in the James Milner saga but it doesn't seem as if the story will end any time soon. Amid a general belief that Villa want £30m for the midfielder, The Guardian reports 'Manchester City will make a £24m second and final offer for James Milner within the next 48 hours as they seek to push through a deal for the England international.' That's repeated in The Sun: 'Manchester City are set to make a £24million take-it-or-leave-it bid for James Milner.' NEW DEAL FOR VIDIC It sounds as if all that chatter about Nemanja Vidic moving to Real Madrid will turn out to be a very profitable business for the Manchester United defender. Just about every newspaper carries the claim that the Serbian will be offered a pay increase from £70,000 a week to 90k. 'Although Vidic's contract is due to expire in June 2012, United have been steadfast in their insistence that, Wayne Rooney apart, all player deals will now be reviewed and renegotiated only once they enter their final 12 months,' says The Guardian. 'But with Rio Ferdinand enduring an injury-ravaged season last term - the England defender is sidelined again with a knee injury - and only Wes Brown offering experienced back-up at centre-half, Ferguson is concerned that losing Vidic would leave United vulnerable defensively. 'No offers have been received for the player, with neither Real nor AC Milan firming up their interest with a bid, but United accept that continued uncertainty around Vidic could prove a distraction for both the player and the club next season.' Wenger to move for keeper Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is closing in on a £3million move for Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer, according to reports. Wenger is a long-term admirer of the Australian international and had a £2million offer for Schwarzer rejected by Fulham earlier this season. But with the 37-year-old keen to leave Fulham following manager Roy Hodgson's move to Liverpool, the Gunners are said to be ready to return to their London rivals with an improved bid in the next week - which could also include a coaching role. While Wenger has ruled out a move to sign another striker before the start of the new season, he is anxious to improve his options in goal with Manuel Almunia and his number two Lukasz Fabianski both having made a number of glaring mistakes last season. Sol Campbell 'to sign one-year Arsenal contract on return from honeymoon' Sol Campbell is set to end speculation over his future by putting pen to paper on a new one-year contract at Arsenal when he returns to the UK later this month Good times thats 4 centre backs we have now, and we have song who is an excellent centre back maybe one more would be good though. |
Barcelona To Turn To Werder Bremen Star Mesut Oezil If Deal For Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas Falls Through
The Catalan side are interested in signing Oezil in case they fail to sign Fabregas this summer... http://www.goal.com/en/news/12/spain...-oezil-if-deal Arsenal FC boss Arsene Wenger mulls over Wilshere loan to Bolton Wanderers Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle will have to wait a little while longer to find out whether Arsenal FC starlet Jack Wilshere will return to the Reebok Stadium next season. Bolton News claims Gunners boss Arsene Wenger wants to take a closer look at Wilshere’s progress before deciding whether to loan him to Wanderers. Coyle was hoping for a decision on the 18-year-old’s future next week, with the Gunners currently away on a pre-season training camp in Austria. But Wenger is set to make Coyle wait a little longer, indicating that his preference would be to keep his prodigy at the Emirates this season. “At the moment, I want Jack to gain experience and, if possible, at Arsenal,” said the Frenchman. “I will give him a chance to play now. ”I want to see if he can integrate with the first team. Of course, I will make that decision later. Ideally, it is better that he gains experience with us. ”I am a bit keen not to create too much hype around the young English players. They need to work hard and we have outstanding English talent.” Wilshere has indicated that he would return to Wanderers on loan if Wenger failed to guarantee regular first team football. MASCA DEAL EDGING CLOSER It does, however, appear as if Javier Mascherano's future is closer to being resolved. The Daily Mail reports that the player 'is ready to ask for a transfer to push through his proposed move from Liverpool to Inter Milan. 'Representatives of the Argentina captain were reported to be in Milan yesterday holding informal talks over his planned transfer and expect to formulate an offer from Inter over the next week.' With the transfer seemingly a matter of when rather than if, focus has shifted to the matter of what Liverpool will get in return. 'Inter are unwilling to offer Liverpool's valuation of £30m instead they intend to deal closer to £20m - but could offer players in return such as former Portsmouth midfielder Sulley Muntari,' says the Mail. HUNTELAAR TO LIVERPOOL? Meanwhile, The Sun reckons that Hodgson is considering doing a deal that would bring Klaas Jan Huntelaar to Anfield on loan. 'Hodgson has been quoted around £14million to sign Huntelaar permanently from AC Milan. 'But he could get him on the never-never, although the fees will top £2m. Huntelaar, 26, has been told in no uncertain terms that he does not have a future at the San Siro.' |
15 out of 19 Rangers players that are left are british
Puts the EPL to shame... |
Does that include any youngsters in the 19 players left?
Arsenal have: 4 keepers. 8 Defenders. 10 Midfielders. 5 Forwards. Which is 27.. and another like 8 - 10 players, who are good enough to be subs (youngsters who have already played first team). |
Cardiff have received no approach from Fulham about Dave Jones.
No Fulham approach for Sven Goran Eriksson either:joker:. |
