http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/image...5_huang226.jpg Liverpool could be bought by a Chinese business tycoon within days, according to a source close to the deal. Kenny Huang, head of Hong Kong-based investment company QSL Sports Ltd, wants to take full control of the Reds, who have been up for sale since April. "A deal has to be done before the transfer window closes [on 31 August]," a source close to Huang told BBC Sport. "Huang has made a firm proposal. The club's board has to sanction the sale and it could be sewn up in days." However, he wants the deal to be completed within two weeks to allow Hodgson time to strengthen the squad before the transfer deadline at the end of August. Any later and the deal is off. Huang is offering to clear Liverpool's debt to RBS The tycoon also plans to build the club a new stadium as soon as possible. Huang is a well-known figure in the Chinese sporting industry and particularly influential in basketball and baseball. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...ol/8876510.stm Good old Kenny Huang, let's hope he buys us so we can go on a spending spree. |

Yesterday.. Carlisle 1-0 Hibs
Not that many are going to be interested but i'm a Hibby and took me 2 hours to get there by train, got escorted by the police from the station to the Griffen, then after held back by the police, they had the dogs etc out and it took me 40 minutes to get back to the station from the stadium then they told us we had to wait on the next train cause there was too many of us, which didn't come to an hour later. Don't think i'll be going back to Carlisle for a long time, was a complete shambles. |

We've got until the 13th August to accept the bid from the Chinese Businessman, and if we don't by then he is leaving it.
|
Oh right, I don't think he'll buy, I reckon you'll see a lot more interest now, he was the first to show his hand......others will follow suit.
|
Sunderland have asked Man.City if they can have Joe Hart on loan..
