Sol Campbell has stated "im in better shape now, than when i left Arsenal"
I doubt it lol. |
Former Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sanz must be feeling a devastating combination of boredom and jealousy right now because he felt the need to lash out at the current regime at his old club in an interview with Terra.es earlier this week. He threw plenty of barbs at current club president Florentino Perez, but he saved his best comments for Cristiano Ronaldo:
"I read on the cover of a newspaper that Cristiano would generate 80 million euros a year at Madrid. This is something no one can believe. Either we are all fools or Ronaldo is an idiot. "Ronaldo is shown in the media like Tarzan in shorts! "He must get up in the morning, see himself on the front pages of the newspapers, and believe he is Superman or God." Actually, he believes he's more of a Super-God -- a combination of Superman and God, with a sprinkling of Wonder Woman -- but yeah, you're close enough. |
Giovinco: Dazzling ‘Atomic Ant’ to Leave Juve? Liverpool, Arsenal & West Ham Alerted
Sebastian GiovincoLiverpool, West Ham and Arsenal have been alerted to news in Italy suggesting Italian starlet Sebastian Giovinco is frustrated with his role at Juventus. The diminutive star was the shining light of the Azzuri’s U21 side’s failed bid to win the European championships in Sweden last summer. Despite his impressive displays the 22-year-old is widely regarded as the best young prospect in Italy although he is struggling to earn a starting place in the Juventus side. His agent Andrea D’Amico told Sportitalia, “There are many factors to be considered and resolved in this matter.” |
Reported Arsenal target Andre-Pierre Gignac has been told by his current club Toulouse that he will ‘not be allowed’ to leave during January.
The striker has been struggling for goals this season (Gignac has only scored five goals this season after finishing top goalscorer in Ligue 1 last time out) but is still a key member of the French outfit’s squad and the top brass have the let the forward know that he will not be going anywhere during the transfer window. |
Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko will keep Premiership clubs waiting until the summer.
The Bosnia international is a target for Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal, along with Italian giants AC Milan. The Guardian says Dzeko, who has a £35m buy-out clause in his contract, would be entitled to a 10% cut of that fee were he to move in the summer. |
Bolton Wanderers are unlikely to sign Arsenal youngster Jack Wilshere after the bitter fallout from Wednesday night's clash.
The Mirror says Trotters boss Owen Coyle wants to take the young midfielder on loan, but the bitter exchange between the two managers at the end of a fiery game at the Emirates has put the deal into cold storage. The new Wanderers chief gave Arsene Wenger a frank description of what he felt about William Gallas' tackle on Mark Davies - and the fact that the Gunners played on to claim an equaliser. Coyle had asked for Wilshere during his time at Burnley, and was keen to resurrect the deal to the England Under-21 star to the Reebok. However, the strain between he and Wenger means Coyle is now pressing on with other targets and will not ask or expect any favours from Wenger. Owen Coyle. Going to be a dick at bolton, gallas didnt intentionally go to injure him it was accidental.. |
The agent of AC Milan striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has confirmed a move to England could be on this month.
The Dutchman has been linked with the likes of Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal this season. "There are some clubs in England interested in the player, that is correct," agent Arnold Oosterveer told Soccernet. "But out of respect for the clubs I cannot tell you [which ones they are]. It depends. In football everything is possible and in the last week a lot of things can happen. “He wants to play more than he plays now and if that is in England or Germany or Spain or Italy, that is for him.” Oosterveer added: "There is no problem at the moment and I hope Milan want to cooperate for the next four months and play him, because he needs to play more. “It depends if Milan want to cooperate with the player. For now they want him to stay in Milan." |

gutted getting knocked out the cup, but delighted to see arteta back playing
watched the game on justin tv, wasn't good enough in the first half, dominated the second and but for a great save by joe hart we would have got level, fellaini was immense again, got to be one of the best centre midfielders in the league |

Delfouneso scored he is going to be amazing, and Delph scored |
Leeds saved a peno just there now. Fairly organized little team but I don't think they'll hold out.

Four goals for Rooney and a better performance for United:):D.
Glad the Baggies won also, plus Villa and Brum . Spurs are coming so close to scoring, anytime.. |
And a chance at the opposite end for Jermaine Beckford;).

Beckford is a decent player for the Championship or League 1 but i'm not sure if he could cope in the PL. |
