Didn't you want MeMyself&I to explain herself earlier?

haha yeah I do try and see the good in people, but really, just give Patrick a break. I mean clearly he feels patronised by the group of older members, and that's normal. I mean we're (Patrick and I) are 14, it's a given that we're not going to be as knowledgable as some of you lot!

oh and ps: MM&I is a considerable EXCEPTION :laugh2:

to be quite fair, I'm only 3 years older than you, Stu only 5 years older, yet put one of us next to Patrick and the difference in general knowledge is quite vast. And it appears that Patrick doesn't even know how ignorant he is, so at 14 years of age, someone needs to tell him.

I'm not expecting a 14 year old to be on the same level as a 19 year old. but Patrick's not even on the 14 year old level to be honest. I know I was a damn sight more clued up than Patrick at 14.

I don't think the idea of an adult areas going to go down too well if everyone just argues and calls each other names on the main board .....

Nah not really, posters who are daft enough to try to circumvent rules normally give them selves away by the content of their posts, the way they mispell certain words, phrases they use etc, that draws attention to themselves.

Besides some forums automatically display IPs to staff so they can see at a glance if IP's match.

I think you're being a little too judgemental here. Patrick's a great guy, and let's leave it at that, as I'm not much for an argument :)

I'm off to bed so night MrGaryy, Stu, Jaye, Patrick and everyone else (:

Ahhh OK :)

I think it'd be OK so long as the staff realise there may be some legalities behind it. Not sure exactly what they are (and I may be wrong) but for example they may need a license for pornagraphic content and lets face it, that would be posted

I think its a good idea for all the adult members to have a sub forum!

The only problem is i get on with the older members more than the members my own age.So i wouldn't be able to talk to them as much.

I prefer the idea of in a thread you can tick wether everyone can view it or just older members

Depends where the site is hosted, if that particular country required a licence to run a pornographic business. If it was run as a business.

However if there was an issue against it, its simple no pornographic images, links to such would be fine but nothing stronger than ... whatever.
