With loads rightly to be proud about too happyland, the culture is steeped in decency and the people are the friendliest I have met anywhere. The History because it is wild and really colourful, never dull but really interesting.

Then the Country, one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

I see endless amounts of things to boast about in the Nation that is Scotland.

If Scotland can go, they can take all the debt from their banks with them!

I just hope that both Zippy and Livia are right and Scotland can be happy with partial autonomy for the time being. The intervention of their own Parliament could spare them the worst aspects of the Coalition cuts and its wretched privatisation agenda that Salmond is taking a much needed stand against.

Scotland will have its
Own TV Station

The Scottish BBC can be removed
as the National station.

Thats Good
as the Bloated BBC needs to Cut back

It would be interesting to see what share of the deficit Scotland would inherit if they did become independent actually, considering how much was spent bailing out RBS and HBOS, and the disproportionate amount of public spending that goes towards them

Of course there are! Brazilians for one.

Scots are very bitter and spiteful towards the English. Serious case of chiponshouldersitus.

I think you may find that is with good reason and also works both ways, England has rarely dealt fairly with the Scots.

I cannot comment on Brazilians, I only know 3 people who are from Brazil.Part of my family are from Scotland and I know a great many Scots and to me they along with the Irish are the friendliest, most hospitable and most uplifting people I have met.

There's a fair bit of spitefulness in this thread...

Read back and see where most of it comes from

Does not matter to me. Only Celtic matters, so going up to Glasgow would not change anything
