Having caught up with TIBB, as is apparently compulsory, I'm off again shortly for another outing with them now, I apologise in advance. May I suggest a fresh air outing might do you some good. :hee: |

'Lilibet To Be Christened at Windsor'!! and 'Grandpa Charles Daily Zoom calls to See His Beloved Grandkids'! or 'Harry and Meghan to Present Best Picture Award at Oscars'!! etc. Surely they aren't worming their way back in to that awful racist family who left them so desitute of cash they were forced to take Netflix and Spotify deals? Surely they aren't failing so badly reputation wise (and possibly financially) that they need to be SEEN with those awful Royals to boost their popularity and commercial projects? Or is our Queen so canny that she is being remarkably forgiving, therefore making sure they never say another bad word about her 70 year making of the institution she is head of and his future book isn't going to be full of more scathing lies, whining and cries of perpetual victimhood? Will Harry and Meghan become good celebs/royal friendly and free us forever from their awfulness? :fc: :hehe: Intriguing stuff....:idc: |
the queen is nearly 96. She will want a united family for the june event. We also know she has plans for Andrew to attend so its not just H & M
After all the years of service the queen has put in. To me its only right, that the family put a brave smile on things for 4 days |

Maybe, there is things that go on in that family that we are not privy to and some of the "sources" that leak things are not always telling the truth...shock horror. Who knows? I am sure the Queen will love to have her whole family around her at the time and that is more important than any motive any of them may have for being there. Its her show after all |
i think the press is responsible for creating a rift and perpetuating it. It sells. The queen has been around to long to harbour grudges, and lets face it Charles is no spring chicken either. Charles will have a bigger beef with Andrew than he would ever have with his son

Liz finally apologised during the secret meeting last week, it's all water under the bridge now. Meghan will look beautiful on the balcony :flutter:

Meghan, in floods of tears, begged the Queen for forgiveness and said that she really wanted to be part of their lovely family again. Then she requested that Liz ask Kate to Zoom- call her to advise her on what to wear to look presentable on the balcony. |
I think the penny has dropped that it’s far easier to do the minimum of Royal engagements with pre arranged press than it is to produce the amount of content Spotify require or have to put up with a camera trailing you everywhere recording your every move, cap in hand to Liz they have gone and they seem to want Charles to reinstate them as part time royals once Liz passes

Also where has the narrative come from that they don't want cameras following them for their Netflix shows? I miss when they were desperate attention seekers :skull:

According to Lady Colin Campbell re H&M’s visit to the Queen- nothing of substance was discussed, it wasn’t an ‘olive branch’ meeting, polite conversation was made. The meeting with Charles (and Camilla halfway through) was very brief and distinctly chilly.
I wonder....LC does have good contacts, she often turns out to be correct, and her video is available on youtube if anyone wants to hear more (I haven’t listened myself yet, I just heard the gist of her remarks.) It does seem to me that H&M are realizing they need to be back in favour with the Royals for their brand to succeed, because they need to be seen to have a proper, ongoing connection to them. It is really all they have going for them, success - wise. On their own, they haven't done anything of note at all and have needed a lot of outside help brought in to produce what little has been forthcoming from them for Netflix and Spotify. |

Maybe people need to stop posting their opinions as facts

Umm the evidence is they wanted to be part time Royals when they originally announced they were leaving but Liz put a stop to that |
truth be told, the royal family need members who are media savvy in this day and age and from what i've seen H & M are the only ones with half a clue how to present themselves on that stage. So it may be that many existing senior members don't like it, but they would be much better placed to have M & H onside, than fighting against them. To be blunt, the senior royals need to suck it up and move with the times

Prince Harry has said he paid a visit to the Queen last week to make sure his grandmother was “protected” and “had the right people around her”, in his first full interview in over a year.
The Duke and wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, visited the Queen in Windsor on Thursday, marking the first time both have returned to the UK since they stepped back from Royal duties two years ago. “Being with her was great. It was so nice to see her,” the Duke of Sussex told NBC News, which released a preview of a longer interview set to air on Wednesday. “Both Meghan and I had tea with her. She was on great form, she always has a great sense of humour. “I’m just making sure she is protected and got the right people around her,” he added. Right |
i think that was a not very subtle reference to andrew and the fact he took centre stage at the memorial, which could have been completely different if he had chosen to attend
