Wow I actually like Scott McTominay as a player ( still developing) but in 66 games last season he managed to play just THREE
through balls

How embarrassing / worrying...

TalkSport news just said that Stones and Foden weren’t taken on the tour as neither of them reached the required fitness levels I the medical tests over the last few days.

Gudogan also isn’t going but only because he’s only had one Covid19 jab .

did Gundogan have covid before? that might explain why he only had one covid19 jab

Yes .. his agent said that Gundogun was going to have a second jab this summer but we don’t know if that’s true or not

this saturday, super cup

Liverpool - Manchester City

Nicky91 02-08-2022 01:24 PM

matches what i look forward to this first match weekend

Newcastle - Nottingham Forest (can Nottingham do similar as Brentford last season and Leeds the year before in first matchround and cause for a little upset in first matchround)

West Ham - Man City (looking forward to seeing Scamacca, our psv flop in action, and Haaland of course, am a fan of his goalscoring talent so i hope he immediately begins to score a few goals to silence his critics after community shield match last week)

Everton - Chelsea (Lampard vs his old team, and Chelsea under a new ownership, new players, what can we expect from them now)

Crimson Dynamo 02-08-2022 01:29 PM

FPL starts FRIDAY

i'm really excited for this seasons football and with the addition of the world cup in the winter it's going to make everything so unpredictable - it's going to be a hell of a roller coaster ride

Yes !!

It could easily be the best ever season !!

City and Liverpool SHOULD be front runners but they both have a new CF and both teams will have to adapt their play somewhat

I can see Arsenal doing extremely well after their new acquisitions .

Spurs and Chelsea could be dark horses as could ManUnited .. depending on their signings

So many teams with loads of great new players ... so many of the players will be busting a gut to prove themselves AND also earn a place in their own WorldCup squad ..

Palace have already knobbled Jesus - he’s limping slightly

Palace players are fouling, ref blows for free kick - doesn’t book anyone then the Palace players just berate him

Think it’s time for a few Xhaka equaliser challenges. :)

We need Arsenal to crush this palace team just to show that their tactics are meaningless

I’m not a fan of this new leniency in reffing .
They’ve been told to let petty fouls go unpunished..

Just then there was a sequence of five fouls . .. each team taking it in turn to dive into the tackle as the previous one went unpunished.. this will just end in some injuries

Same old Arsenal, bit of promise first 20 mins then were dominated by a poor Palace for the rest of the half

They do seem reluctant to shoot for some reason .. baffling

Refs still falling for Zaha’s diving .. no change there

Palace are simply battling / fouling their way through to be honest though

The ref has even allowed tackles from behind all evening

The leniency will favour the more cynical teams like Palace , Chelsea , Everton etc etc

Well who would've thought that they'd be a night this season where Arsenal & Birmingham City are hailed as the best team in their League.

It isn't gonna last for either team, but we both may as well enjoy it while it lasts.:joker:
