Okay, via Vincent's son on the Survivor Sucks message board.

Daniele and Dick aren't estranged of 5 years. It was a set up by DIck to fool the producers. They have been talking on and off for the past 5-6 years despite bickering and seem to get along.

I wonder if they could get kicked off, since surely this would get back to them. I have been wondering that since it was posted, but no one else has said that. I mean that has to be true, but two years ago they tried out for the pairs for best friends with her just 18 and the age limit to audition 21, then two years later they go from best friends to worst enemies. I also understand he made it to the semi finals twice before, they would have to remember him and her.

The show Reality chat on TV Guide Channel last night aired new interviews with the houseguests. However, they didn't just show the fourteen that everyone knows about, they showed someone who we had never seen before named Samantha. All of them are wearing the same clothes as in the Early Show interviews, the official pictures, and in the commercials. So could she be America's house guest or did she drop out. That would also not make sense though because there were only fourteen pictures in the memory wall and fourteen places at the table. I think it would take a while to change the memory wall, so they would just throw another person in there. Here is the video.

Ok, I am a little confused. Am I being called the liar or is Dick? Also Vactory is the name of Dick's son and Daniele's brother, so are you now also on this board? Finally, if you Dick's son then why did you use quotes for that, but used the name vactory? Also if it is me being called the liar, I was just relaying what was being posted on other websites.

Big Brother 8 began tonight. A few surprises. Spoilers follow!!!!

We begin by seeing the new house and learning the rivals. They are Dick and Daniele (Father and daughter), Carol and Jessica (Ex friends and rivals), and Dustin and Joe (ex boyfriends). We see the nine not involved and also Daniele, Carol, and Joe in front of the house. They enter. Jen announces she doesn't think any one is attractive and says like more then I have ever heard it before. Julie then reveals to the public that there are three others. The other half of the enemy pairs are in the head of household. She informs the ones upstairs about the other 11 and their enemies. They get to watch on the spy screen the first night's events. None of them are too happy to see their enemy. Especially Dustin. Joe slept with his friend and they are both wearing each other's shirts. It was time for the hoh competition. This is back to me now. Julie then informs the eleven that for some of them they are about to see an enemy of theirs. Joe instantly guesses that it is Dustin. He then announces in front of millions and the 13 he is living with he has Gonnehrea (I spelled that wrong sorry, but the STD). He claims it is from Dustin and Dustin still upstairs is flipping out saying his tests were negative. Joe says he ruined all of his friendships. It is then time for them to come down. Carol nervously laughs when she sees Jessica. Daniele doesn't make much of a response to seeing her dad Dick. Joe says knew it when he sees Dustin. Daniele goes off and crys in the bathroom. Jameka and Amber comfort her. We go back to Julie talking to the public reveal that America's Player is Eric. It ends with Daniele, Jameka, and Amber in the bathroom.

These are my own personal opinions. I really like the new color scheme for the titles.
Amber: I didn't think I would like her, but for now I like her, but don't know to much about her.
Carol: I really like Carol. She seems nice.
Daniele: Seems nice, but I don't feel bad for her because her brother and Dick's son say they aren't that estrange, so I think it may just be an act.
Dick: In case it isn't an act then he is what his name is.
Dustin: I like him, I guess, but I don't dislike him, he is better then Joe.
Eric: I like really like him, and relate probably the most to him, except I am really tall (He is only 5'7, and the other guys are all over 6 ft) but I am afraid others won't. I hope we vote him in the right direction.
Jameka: She has a tattoo and I don't know why, but I kind of have a thing against tattoos, I know it is stupid, but I have like never liked anyone with one. Other then that I like her.
Jen: Is annoying and stuck up.
Jessica: I can see her and Jen being friends, they have a lot in common.
Joe: Was annoying, but he Dustin could be interesting fighting.
Mike: Seems nice, but not too much of him was shown.
Nick: Actually seems like he knows what he is doing and does watch the show.
Zach: Is just sort of odd to me right now.

On Sunday the nominations will be revealed and so will Eric's first vote. Tuesday will be the veto competition and ceremony, and Eric's second vote. Finally one week from tonight it will be the first live eviction and live hoh competition. Too early to call, but I think this could definitely be an interesting summer.

I just finished watching it on TiVo since I missed it earlier.

This series definitely has some potential. I love our Big Brother, but it has no style at all. Same house, same titles (maybe a different color), and same relationship twists.

And Corkie...you should tune in this year, definitely. It's a different style of BB and if you were to watch any international BB looking for a taste of something different, BBUS is the one.

PS I think international viewers are the luckiest, seeing as ours airs 3 times a week. You guys don't have to keep up with it everyday and watch all the extra shows (what extra shows?)

By the way, I missed After Dark tonight. I tuned in just at 3 once I finished watching the not-live Launch.

Spoilers of what has been going on the live feed!!!

The live feeds came up last night at 9pm local time in the Big Brother house. Appears as if Eric may not have as much difficulties as we thought to have a showmance. He already has like 3 fake relationships. Sadly, Eric can't go more then three words without swearing. Dick appears to be getting along with everyone, except his daughter. Also I haven't seen Jessica or Carol talk either. I have seen Joe and Dustin talk civilly though. This morning Dick was losing his mind. He didn't go to bed till just before dawn. He smoked and drank constantly. Poured mustard all over the dining table and he spelled "Mom sends her love, Evil Dick". Then he put gloves on the rabbit plants. Then he started crying calling Daniele Alice. Saying she always wanted to be Alice. He wasn't make much sense talking out loud and in jibberish. He then went to the diary room and some viewers of the live feed were worried he may be asking to leave. He went to bed about an hour before big brother woke them up. Right now we are on the water filter because the veto competition is still going on right now hours after it began. Amber also had a dream that God wants her to keep the nominations the same even if she wins it.

Also some ratings news. Big Brother was the the fourth most watched show last night (Really third. Are You Smarter Then a Fifth Grader aired two episodes). In the key demographic of 18-49 (the age range advertisers care the most about) it was number two. (Really number one. Again 5th grader was counted as two separate shows. If you average it, then it got a 2.65 and big brother got a 2.7.) Overall for the week that places Big Brother at #12 for total viewers and at #3 for 18-49, but really #2 if you average 5th grader. It only lost out to Hell's Kitchen. America's Got Talent was a rerun and So You Think You Can Dance wasn't on both probably because of 4th of July week.

In the future though, they along with Hell's Kitchen (But Big Brother will not air on the same night) and Are You Smarter Then a Fifth Grader will be the toughest competition for Big Brother. The Great Singing Bee will come on right after America's Got Talent on NBC and FOX just had to copy NBC so they have Don't Forget the Lyrics right after 5th Grader, so they could both potentially cause problems as well. Interesting story, NBC announced their show in May to premiere in November. The following month Fox announced a version to premiere in July. NBC then decided to push theirs up to two days before FOX's premieres. FOX has aired numerous similar shows as other networks at the same time. Wife Swap and Trading Spouses, Nanny 911 and Supernanny, Dancing With the Stars and Skating with Celebrities, The Contender and The Next Great Champ. Fox has usually ended up doing worse.

My favorites are Daniele & Jameka. I think Joe's fun factor will go very quickly. I like Carole but i think she will be going on Thursday.

I watched the launch earlier, Personally I find the American version of BB quite boring to what we have over here.. Maybe, it's just im used to the UK version, but like I can't see how they have no crowd or public vote. I find that kinda strange as I love all the atmosphere of BB over here!
