What is the question you'd like answered, withano?

I have said clearly I do not find transsexuals attractive, in much the same way I don't find men under 5'5" attractive. So I'm getting a LITTLE tired of having to explain myself.

She is under no obligation to date any. What is this - a nanny state.

I think hes asking you to think metaphorically, in a situation where you meet that blatantly attractive man, at what point would he become an unattractive transman?

Yeah, I'm not answering that Brillo. He's like Finbar Saunders without the humour.

As a woman I would imagine at the point you discovered he had once been a woman.

I have met lots of attractive men. And if it got to the point of undressing in the bedroom and they had not told me clearly they were transsexual, when they pulled out their constructed penis, I would be calling for a cab.

So its more your issue than theirs? (I'm not saying you're wrong but just to clarify, this is in your own head?)

It’s personal choice. No more complicated than that.

It is a personal choice, but others like LT clarified that he is turned off by big hands and big feet, which is fair enough, thats his personal choice. Your personal choice (and Livia's) seems to be with the word trans itself being the turn off... which seems more your problem than theirs?

It's nothing to do with words.

It's a physical thing. I am not physically attracted to men who used to be women and who have a constructed penis.

Lynette69 07-01-2018 12:28 PM

A side note if I may ...

Sadly throughout my life my choices have been made (I hope) without any bias or prejudice ... am I a saint ? Nope but as a fat bi disabled person I have been constantly aware of the unequality and bias that exists. My point is though I do believe that people assume that ur acceptance and support is 100% guaranteed if for example a bi woman goes to a gay bar and trust me on many many levels a gay bar to me offers as many problems as visiting a 'straight' bar in fact more in some experiences. Just on cbb examples of bias is constant from EVERYONE ... the misgendering ... likening a drag queen to a clown ... I don't need go on do I ?? And on a purely personal note ... if its the year of the woman and all aspects of society have been given a voice where is a disabled womans voice ? Ohhhhh I see they couldn't get the time off from basket weaving !!!! Lol ... sorry my little attempt at humour ...

You and the fear of a constructed penis, lol snunday afternoon on the tibb forum, more tea vicar?

Lynette69 07-01-2018 12:31 PM

On this word constructed ... does that mean a so called straight man wouldn't sleep with a woman who had had breast reconstruction then because surely just by definition they would have been constructed? In fact any kind of cosmetic surgery ....

But that is to do with words. You would be physically into that man, until you learn he is a transman? (Unless youre an expert at spotting 'constructed penis', I'd argue that your issue is only in your own mind)

Cherie 07-01-2018 12:34 PM

The question in the OP suggests you would know from the get go, you can move the goalposts and add in all other variables which is what is happening here, in truth unless it has actually happened to us none of us know what we would do if we didn't know from the outset but that is not the question

Lynette69 07-01-2018 12:35 PM

Wait I'm not the only crip in the village ... ohhhh that's new !!!!!
