Asked whether he felt his ‘mum’s presence’, Harry said: ‘It’s constant. It has been over the past two years, more so than ever before.

‘It’s almost as though she’s done her bit with my brother and now she’s very much helping me. She’s got him set up, and now she’s helping me set up. That’s what it feels like. He’s got his kids, I’ve got my kids.

‘The circumstances are obviously different. I feel her presence in almost everything I do, but definitely in the last two years than before without question. She’s watching over us.

doesn't he know women can multitask and can look after more than one child at a time

Vilifying someone for their romanticised spooky feelings about their dead mum is a bit much surely Cherie? She's not actually literally doing anything for either of them and hasn't since the day she died, because she is dead, but if her memory and a bit of fiction can make someone feel better about their dead parent... maybe that's OK?

if people can't see that the media are trying to create a big split they must be blind. I really have no time for the pair of them, but this stuff is blatant

I think even moreso with this stuff above... it's like they've seen glimmers of reconciliation so they're doubling down on the front pages and headlines to stir the pot.

The rift sells papers, they've been leeching off this drama for years now, of course they don't want it to calm down. No one wants front page pics of them all out having a happy picnic together. 'tis just like when they started constantly stirring up BB drama because the "fighty" episodes got more viewers and publicity than everyone having a laugh. Same mindset really.

To be fair, when someone leaves the royal family whilst still trying to clinge on to all the benefits it creates, then of course it's in the public's interest to find out that persons plans for the celebrations.

The media aren’t making a split up that doesn’t exist.
Harry is fully aware that the media will run with everything he says and make 4 course meals out of it.
Yet he chooses to reveal info about a ‘private’ meeting with the Queen. He gives an interview that reveals the estrangement with his father and brother is still ongoing and talks about his private life. Getting a few palace directed digs in while he was at it.

He could have stuck to speaking about what he was there for - The Invictus Games. He could have the privacy he insisted he wants. All that entails is keeping his mouth shut.
Like his family do with their endeavours.

He ‘hates’ the press and he knows the score - so why?

Interviewer: “Do you miss your father and your brother”?
Harry (diverting)…..umm….. “I just want to focus on these guys right now” (Invictus participants).

Goes on to say how he misses his little ones at home.

Yes, great glimmer of reconciliation quashed by…..not the press….but Harry himself. He could simply have said "Of course" and moved it along. But no.

Of course it’s okay, but saying Mums finished with me bro now and is looking after me is a but daft, not to mention insulting to Wills...imagine if your sister claimed your Mum was only helping her now You would be like :umm2: okay".....

Do you miss your Dad and Bro!...eh .the Invictus games are great aren’t they

do you really think meghan will turn down the opportunity to be part of the show that will get transmitted to every corner of the globe and will be captured in history for decades to come? I don't

Cherie 21-04-2022 09:57 AM

That is not a great pic of the Queen on her birthday, she looks like she is in some pain

Yes glimmers of hope - why would he lie about who he does or doesn't miss? It's also a very confronting question, he reportedly has a very complicated relationship with his father. And the question is very specific. "Do you miss them?". Not "Do you wish the relationship was better?". It's not strange to not feel like you miss a strained relationship but that doesn't mean you don't wish it wasn't like that..

bots 21-04-2022 10:07 AM

i can't say i miss any of my relatives. I enjoy their company when we meet up, but missing them is just not a term i would consider. If you live a distance away from people and constantly missed them, you would be a mental wreck

Cos Harry wouldn't ever lie....

I'll just say 'AYE', that'll be it TS, and move along. :joker:

I didn't say harry wouldn't ever lie, I asked "why would he lie about missing people?".

The reading comprehension in this thread is truly shocking :umm2:.

One has to wonder if it might not be intentional...

I find all this ridiculous pomp and ceremony sickening at this time.
